It feels like something under my chest are about to explode. The surroundings are so blurry and the next thing I knew is my back hit something before darkness subside my consciousness. ### Amira's POV I excitedly scan my newly bought book from the bookstore lately. It's all about paranormal stories. It was so thick as it consists of different paranormal stories. Since I get so tired of reading cliche romance stories, I have tried out reading horror again since I'm fond of it as well. As soon as I opened the first page, it excites me after reading first sentence.

Uncle Roderick had always been very distracted. I reached for a picture of him and his brother with my mother. Both he and Papa had the same red hair that I had. My mother, on the other hand, always stood out from the family with her blond mane. I carefully ran my fingers over the photo. In the picture, the three looked so happy. At that time, none of them had known what horror would lurk in the future. Who would have expected to be killed by a couple of mutant dogs on their daughter's birthday?

" I reply. "We'll see. The heroine always denies her feelings at first in most romance novels. " she coos. "That's not true! And even if This Mansion were to be a novel, I'm pretty sure it would be horror and not romance! " I shot. "That's true. But who says a little romance isn't allowed in a horror novel? " she coos while wiggling her brows at me. "You're nuts! " I reply as I roll my eyes and look away while she just laughs.

"Good thing your number will never be called — you're too ugly." "Yes, Mother." I wanted to scream in outrage. She was gorgeous! Even in the dream, I could see the purity of the blood, taste the goodness on my lips. A house appeared in the distance. It was poorly lit. The shutters were falling from the windows, and the porch steps had seen better days. The foundation crumbled beneath the heaviness of the home, making it appear depressing. I took the steps two at a time and found myself in Genesis's room. She had books everywhere. Books about vampires, werewolves, and sirens. Then finally, Dark Ones.

Lady Tatya lounged about in her chambers, reading a horror novel. This was one of her favorite genres. She loved the thrills, the twists, the terrifying reality that burst through the pages. But most of all, she loved the creativity. So many ways to die, so many ways to make someone fall on their own sword. Tatya turned the page with such vigor, she almost ripped it. Yes, this was the moment in the story where the characters were cornered and trapped by the monster, the monster that had a million ways to torture them. Skinning, drowning, beheading… all wonderful ways to cause someone’s death.

, someone announced on the stage which made me concentrate back to stage to see that my friend was about to start her performance and as soon as she hit the first cord of her vocals, all sort of negative energy just vanished atleast that is what I felt and also by this time the entire book store was mesmerized by her soulful voice and the light music was complementing it the best way possible but now all I could think about was all the possible assumptions which could give me any logical reason for the extremely weird energy of that place. I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. After saying this, I would love and appreciate your feedbacks and things to watch out for when I do edit the book. It would be really helpful and appreciated. Bonus scene ideas too would be great.
