HIS

Cue the massive eye roll. My father is full of shit. And, as the days pass and we get closer and closer to the wedding day, I realize I am, too. I'm discovering that Finley Mennetti is a rare and amazing creature. An absolute jewel who should be treasured. Un tesoro. She's more than just beautiful—though she has good looks galore—and her beauty runs deeper. There's an inner glow that not everyone possesses and it shines brightly every time I see Finley smile or hear her say a kind word or see her always so quick to offer help to someone else, whether she knows them or not.

"So what's the solution? Burn it all down?" "I'm not here to give you solutions. I'm here to make you see the board you're playing on." Vaughn paced in front of his desk. "Your generation loves to talk about changing the system. But first you have to understand it. Really understand it. Not the civics textbook version. The actual machinery of power."

I calmly cooed, taking a step toward her. She looked indecisive, narrowing her eyes in on me, and furrowing her brows in the process, "Who are you?" She murmured, "What are you?" Her voice was clearer as she asked those questions and I couldn't help but stare at her wide-eyed. It was such an odd question that I didn't expect from her. "What do you mean?" I asked, feigning unsureness, "My name is Zion Collins and although I said that I'm from Pluto, Angel face, I lied. I'm actually human."

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

HOMECOMING

Kim wiped her palm on her thigh suddenly feeling nervous and self conscious, her heart tudded a little too loudly for her liking. She thought of hiding but felt it was useless since he had seen her and it would arose more questions from her friends, and if she acted like she didn't know him that would even be worse so she stood where she was and watched as he walked towards her in long commanding strides.

The best he could do was a grunt. Think Knox, think, what was the last thing you remember... An amused voice popped up in his head, full of sarcasm," Or you could always ask me. I'm along for the ride, too, dumbass." Vadem, his wolf, seemed to be getting way too much enjoyment out of their predicament, if it were possible for wolves to laugh, his would be rolling on the ground clutching at his sides by now, and Knox fought the urge to do an internal eye roll.

I replied. I hated every part of this, especially having to do it in front of Jasmine and Cedric but I knew that I needed to. I had disrespected and embarrassed her. I needed to atone for that. I needed to humble myself in front of her so she understood that I meant it. She looked over at Jasmine and Cedric. She knew that this was awful for me. She may not have grown up in a pack but she knew how prideful Alphas were and how difficult it was for us to admit we were wrong and the fact that I was doing it in front of others was a big deal. She looked up at me and nodded.

He was wielding a massive hamaxe¹. Will immediately knew he had made a mistake, he had severely underestimated the technology of the Orcs, maybe even this world. He ȧssumed just because the Goblins were this primitive, everyone else wouldn't be too far ahead. [I should have taken them all away, now we're all going to die.] Will despaired at the thought, but he was too terrified to move.

I stutter, Acre grins "I think he means wow you have been busy" "Yes well we wanted to be prepared, now come let's get you lot fed and settled, tonight we rest, tomorrow we journey on". We follow grandpa through the sea of tents, looking around I see hundreds of wolves all bowing their heads to me and Acre, willing to fight for us, it makes my heart swell.
