This time nothing interrupts me as I fall asleep and that no nightmare follows. I am in a giant dusty library, searching for a specific book, cob webbs covering the long abandoned shelves. The entire library is covered in a thick layer of dust, not a single finger print marking it, no one had been here for decades. Suddenly a book in the distance starts to glow and move alittle on the shelf. Like someone had flicked a switch and brought it to life. I thought as I rubbed my chin. “Uh, will it hurt?” Peering at me, his lip curled slightly as he shook his head. “Not the initial bite but your body will reform itself. Thomas would keep your pain to a minimum and I would be at your side for your first shift,” he said compassionately. “We would become a powerful couple, since female hybrids are rare,” he added with a wink. Though the existence of the supernatural hybrids was questionable, if such children were ever born, they could bring either destruction or peace. Aayan found the chapter about hybrids quite interesting. He read with more enthusiasm.
