Wild ridge book2 lightning

Wild ridge book2 lightning

I stayed perfectly still, my heart pounding so hard it hurt. Was he dead? Was it over? Then I heard it. Static. A radio crackled somewhere near the front seat. “This is Death. Come in.” My heart skipped. Death. The voice repeated itself, louder this time. Still… No answer. I slowly rolled onto my side, ignoring the pain as I searched the damaged van for anything that could help me. My fingers brushed against jagged metal protruding from the torn wall. Yes… If I could just reach it… The back doors flew open.

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

The 197th Chapter ended not with a speech, but with a Kill-Share. We didn't go back to the Citadel. We stayed in the ravine. We built a fire—a real, smoky, spitting fire—and we shared the meat we had hunted. Humans and wolves, side-by-side, the "Sovereign Static" acting as a quiet, violet-gold background noise to the sound of Real People Living. I sat by the fire, my shoulder bandaged with strips of my own cloak. I felt the "Too Much" energy in my marrow, and for the first time, it didn't feel like a weapon. It felt like Hunger. It felt like Need. It felt like Life.

After He Chose My Adopted Sister, I Bought A Wilder Beast

After He Chose My Adopted Sister, I Bought A Wilder Beast

I leaned down, my red lips almost brushing against his hot ear. "You don't need to apologize," I whispered. "Tell me, how exactly do you make someone disappear completely?" "Principessa, I..." He knelt on the bed in a panic, his eyes red as he tried to explain. "I was wrong, please don't send me away..." I didn't let him continue. "It's okay." "A good hunting dog knows how to clear his territory of mongrels." Eva and Kevin were, in a way, cut from the same cloth. They were arrogant, self-important, and held themselves in high esteem.

The Billionaire's Protector

The Billionaire's Protector

They reminded one another of the lives they had touched, the progress they had made, and the countless stories of hope that had emerged from their advocacy efforts. In the final moments of Chapter 85, as the sun began to set, Nathan and Miranda found themselves standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking a vast expanse of untouched wilderness. The breathtaking view served as a powerful reminder of the untapped potential that lay ahead—a reminder that their journey was far from over. Nathan turned to Miranda, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. "Miranda, look at what lies before us. The unknown, the unexplored. It's exhilarating, isn't it? The possibilities that await us as we continue this

Wild Love

Wild Love

He grins at me, and in a second, he changes, a grey wolf stares at me. I turn to forest behind us, and take off, feeling the wind and soil around me, but I am not alone, with him behind me, and together, we run. ____ Alexandru Point of View I stare at her sleeping figure, feeling love bloom in my chest. God, she's so pretty. All through the night, we ran, and I had the front roll seat to her exploring her wolf, She loved it, relishing in the freedom and aesthetics that comes with it.

The Wild Between Us

The Wild Between Us

The mist curled low between the trees, it was foggy, swallowing the world in silence. Irvine tried to breathe it in, let the calm settle her, but something about the woods made her restless. Every rustle, every snap of a twig, they rang louder than it should. Her ears caught sounds farther away than possible: the flutter of birds high inthe sky, the tiny footsteps of a rabbit beneath roots. Her senses were sharper, too sharp. Garrick dismounted first, tying his harnesses to a branch with practiced ease. “The tracks will be fresher deeper in,” he murmured, his tone low but hungry. “Stay close.”

The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

I rested my head on my paws and closed my eyes as I panted softly. My eyes flew open and I sat upright, I had fallen asleep in the grass. I held my arm out and examined my hand, turning it around in front of my face. Human again. I looked around me at the forest. The sun had already begun to set, and it was getting dark. Oh no, I’m late, Dad will kill me. I stood up and looked down at myself. Crap! I'm naked. Do I really have to go back, couldn’t I just live in the forest now? You know, survive off the land and all that? I shivered as the last bit of sun left me and wrapped my arms around myself. Who am I kidding. I don’t know the first thing about surviving in the wild. I'd barely last the

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

This book was so well written! it caught my attention from the start and kept me hooked continuously! Some parts got confusing during the 2 POVs when something happened in 1 but not the other. If this was published on paper I'd buy it. What a fantastic read ! well done ! Im off to read part 2 ☺️

The Lupinemere Academy; The She-wolf And Her Alphas

Chapter 16 I kept running, my legs carrying me faster than I thought possible. I had no idea where I was going, and I didn’t care. All that mattered was the wildness inside me, the pull of my wolf, and the freedom of the forest. Every sound was sharper, every scent clearer than ever before. My heart pounded in rhythm with my strides, I looked up at the moon and I let out a long, trembling howl. A few other howls answered, distant and wild and it made me feel less alone, more connected to this side of myself I didn’t yet understand.
