MELANIE’S POV “I am your father” Joe said and I laughed “I see you as a father figure too Joe, and I don’t take your fatherly support for granted” “You don’t get me Melanie, I am your father, Adams, Sophia it is I your husband” Joe said without any hint on his face that he was joking “Adams is dead, he gave up the ghost right in front of Melanie and I” mom said and I could sense she was close to tears. I was getting angry with Joe now for reminding mom of that awful episode when we lost dad.

Sam said, taking a last sip from his beer before preparing to set off. "Come on, you're joking right?" Osten asked. "Why?" Sam asked, completely lost in the joke. He gaped at each and everyone and noticed they had a look that said he was dumb, besotted on their faces. "You're in college okay, you need to stop that Mama's thing. Or, someone else will mama you." Jack said, making everyone burst out into series of laughter with the exception of Sam who scratched the back of his neck aflutteredly. "Think about it alright, man up." Niel said. Sam placed his finger on his chin, thinking about what had just been said to him but just then, his phone lit up and as he checked, he saw his mom.

“So how was work mom?” Ludo asked Zamiwe. “Great my daughter,” Zamiwe smiled as she passed Joe a plate of veggies. “How about you dad? Business?” “So far, it's doing well,” Joe answered. “How was your day?” “It was fine. Boring for the most parts,” Ludo chuckled. “What did you do?” Zamiwe asked. “Nothing as usual. I just watched TV,” Ludo sighed. “I wanted to apologize for the way I talked to you two the other day.”

Joe gave a little moan as the old guy fondled Bambi’s huge jugs. “She’s got a great rack eh buddy?” Joe said to the guy sitting on his left, smiling stupidly. “You can say that again,” the man nodded, sporting an equally stupid smile. “She’s got a great rack eh buddy,” Joe repeated with a laugh, Joe wasn’t exactly the funniest guy in the world, despite his own opinion of himself. The other guy grimaced at Joe’s poor attempt at humor and diverted his attention back to Bambi as she moved on to a young man’s lap and rubbed her warm cleavage in his face.

“You scared me! Geez!” What was her name again? Piper? Pepper? “Hey! Yo momma is so ugly that if Shrek had a live action film, she wouldn’t even pass as the donkey,” I laughed out loud at my own joke while staring mockingly at the cat, as if it was Juno I was talking to and insulting directly.

I said but stopped once we heard someone coming down the stairs and yes it's Hakeem, he was busy rubbing his head I know the headache got him good,i chuckled " who died? " he asked coming down the stairs trying to joke around " boy you about to die with all that jokes you got - sit your ass down I need to talk to you" mama said...I remained quiet wanting to hear what they gon tell him...it's nice to not be the one in trouble now, the past weeks I been hearing it from my mother about being in jail for stupid things but it wasn't stupid if some bitches gon come and claim my man while I'm still around

She waved her hand lightly, the diamonds on her fingers catching the light. “Oh, heavens, don’t look so grim. It was nothing,” she said. “It’s an old joke, that’s all. You know how people say boys can be too much like being wild and dramatic, and how it is exhausting to be a boy mom. So the joke is about how a mother knows she needs so much help to raise them. It’s just something the older generation repeats. Nothing serious.” Her gaze shifted amongst the crowd. “Don’t tell me you don’t know it.”

"I did, I already ate three times today but I'm just really stressed and when I'm stressed I get hungry and cranky," I explained and he nodded while sipping his beer. That beverage doesn't look nice right now. Why did I ever drink it? I vow to myself to never touch a beer ever again. "Oh okay. So as I was saying, Jamie didn't want to tell his annoying mother to fuck off so I did it for him, hilarious right?" He laughed and I looked at him confused. Which part of this sentence is funny?

Mama laughed, it was a joke for her but my face turned blank. “Don’t talk like this, Mama. You’re going to die.” Ella reprimanded her before I could speak. She looked more disturbed than I and Massimo. “I am only joking, Ella. I am right here.” Mama said. “Still, we don’t like such jokes Mama. You know what you mean to us.” Massimo said to her. “I am sorry, kids. I am really sorry. Now don’t sulk and enjoy the meal with our guest.” Mama raised her hands in surrender motion.

Joe's almost hysterical voice echoed down the hallway, drilling into Haley's ears. Her hands, hanging at her sides, clenched into tight fists, and her almond-shaped eyes brimmed with intense hatred. "Joe, no matter what you think of me, you have no right to speak about my mother like that! "My mom loved you so much. How dare you talk about her that way?" "Hahaha..." Joe could not help but laugh, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Why? Because I was cheated on for years! Yvonne was nothing but a whore. I said it, what can you do about it?"
