To the Men Who Would Want to Fall for Me

To the Men Who Would Want to Fall for Me

From: Mom [Thu, 9:39 pm] That's okay, you can laugh as much as you want even though you're sad for having a broken heart. I gasped. Mom can turn tables, doesn't she? To: Mom [Thu, 9:41 pm] I am your daughter, mom! I can't believe you can do me dirty! I answered, pasting crying emojis. From: Mom [Thu, 9:42 pm] I'm just joking, haha! I hope you're doing fine, we love and miss you so much!

she went on. “We are both tired, as well, Mom. See? We aren’t your biological sons.” Josh couldn’t resist joking, earning him an eye roll from his mother. “Do you get as tired as women, though? They both wore eight-inched high heels the entire day. “Besides, what’s the point of telling me that? What, do you want them to give you a massage in return? In your dreams, maybe,” their mother said with a snort at her own joke.

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.

a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

The Slaved Virgin Offering

The Slaved Virgin Offering

she says this with a bit of a smirk before laughing and adding as he starts to blush bright red, "Oh honey don't be embarrassed I'm just joking. Playing around you know." Jimmy feels this once again is finally the moment of truth. If he chooses his words carefully he has the feeling it will lead to - something. "But what if it's true Mom?" "What that you can't take your eyes off my tits. I would be shocked, I guess." "Jus coz Dad didn't like them you maybe think I am the same. I mean, well I think Dad was stark raving blind and stupid for making fun of your... breasts Mom. I mean so what if they are big." His eyes flicker down to the front of her nightshirt for about the tenth time since the

The Mafia Lord And His Spy Lover (Book 1)

The Mafia Lord And His Spy Lover (Book 1)

Val gave an apologetic smile and sipped from her glass of coke. “We wouldn’t need to say it out loud because the amount of fat in these would literally kill us one day.” Zia scoffed, grabbing a bite of lasagna, and then pushed her palms out, seeing Mamma take a step in her direction. “Mamma, I’m just joking.” “Why do you eat it when you have to complain?” “It’s not like I can puke everything out now.” “Then stop puking stupid words.” Val and I could barely contain our laughter, the sounds, which according to my Mamma, were too unladylike, but little did we care. The ringing cell in Mamma’s apron pocket interrupted us. Mamma pulled it out and her brows creased.

I Hate You, But I Love You

I Hate You, But I Love You

I picked up my glass and poured orange juice. "You're not funny, Fatima." "I'm not kidding, mom. I’m serious about saying I don’t need a man in my life." "I can't let you be an old maiden," I turned my gaze to my dad. "Who will take care of you when we're gone?" I could not answer. "Hija, I can't say your body is healthy," said my mom. "You're obese." "Mom, I'm healthy. I don't care if my body is like a closet. I also don't care what other people say about me."

One Joke Too Many

One Joke Too Many

The room went dead quiet when I said I would take the prize, but that quiet did not last. A second later, laughter thundered through the air. Lily Smith was the loudest, doubling over with tears streaming from her eyes. "How else could she be the top seller?" she cackled. "A woman like her has to have skin as thick as a rhino." I ignored her snide comments and kept my cool. "Just to be clear," I said, "since the company so generously 'rewarded' me with bathroom duty, that's all I'll be doing for the next three days. Everything else is off my plate."

Baby Mama

Baby Mama

It was one of her comfort potions whenever she had dysmenorrhea, or whenever she was stressed. "Mom, you do realize that I'm already a family man now, right?" Ira chuckled, yanking his mother's hand away from his face. "Please stop squeezing my cheek as if I'm still your five-year-old errand boy." "I know, I know," said Helena, tapping his jaw gently. "Nice to see you again, Miguel," his father greeted him, too. That was the latter's pet name for Ira. "Hey, dad. I'm sorry we came late for the family breakfast."

Clueless Love

I say teasing. “Yes, you have to now,” Fatima laughs. “You can’t be serious. I am not paying for anyone’s meal,” Emma says laughing with us. “Yeah, we know, we are just joking.” I say smiling. “You better be.” “You guys won’t believe what happened to me yesterday.” Fatima says after our laughter dies down. “What happened?” I ask.

Silently Falling for Her

Silently Falling for Her

I was about to leave but she held me again. "You are fat, how come you have the audacity to wear a dress like this?" Maddy giggled as well as her minions. The same comment, I hate hearing that I'm fat. I took a deep breath not to cause any trouble. "Well, I’m sorry my stomach isn’t as flat as your chest!" Maddy looked like she was about to kill me because I hit a nerve. Maddy grabbed my jaw as her fake nails dug into my skin. "You fucking little piece of shit! Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror? No, wait... You can't because you are ugly." She cackled at her own joke while I stood there unwavering. I quirked my eyebrows as I slapped her hand.

My Mate's Wedding Drama

My Mate's Wedding Drama

Aaron saw the conflict in me, and told me to go ahead and make all the jokes I wanted. I couldn’t help the “yo’ momma” jokes that immediately came out of my mouth. Aaron’s situation was incredibly sad and tragic. Even so…the idea of Aaron’s mate leaving him out of fear that he was sleeping with his own mother… how do you not make jokes out of that???? When I couldn’t stop making jokes, Aaron decided to tease me that my mate story was only marginally better, having met my mate while wearing a wedding dress.

I love this book! Is there really going to be a book 2? Its been awhile so wasn’t sure if you changed your mind. I will love to get some more answers to what was left unsaid! All this author’s books so far have been amazing.

Chapters 1-60 are book 1 which I finished. It is a cute short story with an array of misunderstandings but with a cute ending. The characters are interesting and it wasn't overly frustrating to read as one would expect. Well written. Reading book 2 now
