I asked him straightforwardly “Zara, why are you not talking to me?” he asked with sadness all over his handsome face. “Don’t you know!” I said rolling my eyes on him “I was just joking Zara, I didn’t meant any harm” he said in a saddest tone ever. “Joking…why is that every serious situation is a joke for you Rocky? Can’t you act mature for once in a life time?” I said in angry tone. He lowered his gaze and hung his head low, as if he was ashamed.

Andreas quietly nodded affirmatively; Well, well, that's great Joker as if he's going to vomit; Oh my God, my stomach turned and I feel nauseous from just opening your mouth and your stench came out of it. Andreas smiles angrily and madly, his smile shows his teeth, so that joker really triggered his madness, and woe to Andreas madness Joker smiles slyly;

I take shallow breaths to calm myself and wipe my eyes with the back of my hand, flinching at the pain from my busted face. ‘Now I know this is a joke. Nice try though. You almost had me there. What do you really want?’ I try and calm myself, more escapee tears from giggling so hard, but he is persistent in that starchy serious mood, eyes following me in a very deadpan face, standing completely still and unreadable. He doesn’t crack one tiny smile.

His face returned to that cold, unreadable mask, his eyes locking onto mine with unrelenting intensity. "I'm dead serious." The air in the room shifted, thickening, pressing against my lungs. I stopped laughing, and my pulse stuttered. As I stared at him, searching for any hint that he was messing with me, I found nothing but stone-cold seriousness. A chill ran down my spine again and I suddenly regretted ever finding myself attracted to this maniac. "Lucian," I finally managed, my voice barely above a whisper. "That’s not funny." He didn’t blink. "It’s not a joke."

Then burst into a guffaw. "Oh, Man. Don't be serious. It's not any film but real life. Come out of your filmy and reel life to real life. Don't tell me someone tried to kill me, that's why I'm in such a condition." Susanna was still laughing but there was no sign of lightness in his face. He was looking deadly serious and his jaw was tight and firm.

When he got into a serious mood, the goofy grin was off his face. “What is it, darling?” He shrugged, tired of waiting for me to say something. “I thought you said it was just Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Berneji that went to ruffle him up a bit?” I paused to get a response. “Yeah, do you have any issue with that?” He bit his lips. "Like I said, they solely did it.” "I know... It's just that, I'm wondering how you got to see his face.” I finally let it out after struggling with my words.

No jokes. “I’m sorry,” he said immediately. I folded my arms. “I’m serious,” he said quickly. “I shouldn’t have joked. I shouldn’t have said any of that.” “Then why did you?” I shot back. He dragged a hand through his hair, frustration written all over his face. “Because I didn’t know what else to do.” I scoffed. “That’s not an excuse.” “I know,” he said. “But it’s the truth.” I shook my head, stepping back. “You don’t get to turn something that mattered—to me—into a punchline.”

But I kept my expression so deadly serious that he swallowed the laugh down. “What do you mean you're a ghost? What kind of a sick joke is this?” “A ghost joke,” I shot back, attempting to deflect his humor. “Aren't I just hilarious?” I pouted, arching a single brow at him. A sudden, genuine laugh escaped his lips. I almost let my own smile slip at my own stupidity. My fingers on his shirt loosened just a fraction, but I tightened my grip again instantly, reminding him that we weren't here to play games. His eyes darted down to my grip, registering the sudden seriousness of the situation.

Leon suddenly becoming serious out of the blue was funny. “Is this some kind of joke?” I said, shaking my head as I picked up my fork again, poking at the half-eaten pancake on my plate. The laugh felt forced, though, because deep down, something about his face told me this wasn't funny to him. Leon's expression soured right away, his eyes narrowing as he pushed his plate aside. Annoyance flashed across his features, the lines around his mouth deepening. “This isn't a joke, Ronan,' he snapped at me. “I need you to take this seriously.”

I say after a long while, trying my best to speak through my laughing fit. His dark gaze falls on me, examining me with boundless curiosity. He has his hands under his chin, appearing to be in a pensive mood. Eventually, I stop laughing like a mad man as the seriousness of the situation sets in. Realization hits me hard. He isn't joking. He is deadly serious. “You can't be serious.” I mumble under my breath, too afraid to raise my voice. His arched brow lets me know that he is enjoying this. Of course he is.
