“Just calm down, okay? I'm sure they can make it tomorrow. For now, stay here and drink this.” My brows crossed when he offered me the coconut that was opened on top. It has a straw as well with a little umbrella on it. “They call it ‘buko juice’, it's refreshing. I've tried it,” I was a bit hesitant but I still accepted it. His eyes were glued to me as he watched me take a sip. “Oh, hell.” I mumbled. “It's amazing, right?” I quickly nodded and chuckled when he looked so proud over it. “I told you. It's the best here. I think I'll find that when we go home,” he breathed heavily and shook his head.

I said quietly. "That's the point!" Violet spoke quickly. We laughed softly as we approached the table filled with snacks. "Em, Kei, I'm warning you, those silly boys like to add alcohol to juice, so before you drink it, make sure it doesn't get mixed up!" Violet exclaimed while looking at the several glasses of juice that were served on the table. "Oh shit! How can I tell the difference? They look like regular juice to my eyes!" I watched the row of juices in front of us.

His expression when he saw me told me he is surprise about my dressing. " You look different today. Handsome and wealthy " he said. I roll my eyes " I don't need a compliment from a stiff guy. " I said smiling. " It's been almost twenty four hours since Mr Mike abducted jilly. What is your plan ? " The smile on my face evaporated to the wind. " I'm going to claw foot club, i need to meet Mike. I can't sign my company to him just like that. We need to have a conversation "

I trail my fingers through his soft hair, admiring how it is. "Yes, I need some chilled fruit juice." "Not wine?" "No baby, I feel like taking something natural." He gives me a warm smile. "Sure, I'll bring it in the next minute. One minute please." I take an excuse walking out of the room to the kitchen where I make him fresh pineapple juice mixed with green apple. He really loves this mixture of fruits, best served chilled. I place it inside the high-tech freezer which cools stuff in barely seconds. I don't disappoint him with the time I kept because I'm able to return on time, even earlier than he expected.

He has always been strictly business unlike many of the men that want to get under my skirt. I locked my office leaving my phone to go know why he is calling me, it didn't take me long to get to his office. Though the building is big his office is not far from mine, we the marketing department are close to each other. I knocked before coming in, he was drinking the new product, I guess I am not the only one that loves it. We are a juice company, Juvango fruit juice company, it is really a big successful company with branches all over the country and outside too. They pay well and I started working here about a year ago and I consider myself lucky considering the competition of getting in.

It looked like half of the senior class was here. "Lets go find the kitchen so that we can get a drink." Callum whispered to me, his hand still holding mine. "Okay." When we got to the kitchen, a group of football players were taking shots. Callum went over to the cooler, and came back with two red cups. "It's jungle juice. Be careful, the alcohol will sneak up on you." He said as he handed me a cup. I nodded, and took a sip. The drink tasted like candy, I wasn't tasting alcohol at all.

The last thing I needed was more doubt in my life. We were unmolested for the most part. Some insects buzzed about, but we saw no other animals, of any size. There were ponds of water and some berries which kept us going through the day. Joshaya insisted he had never seen these varieties before, but somehow knew which were poisonous and which weren’t. His false modesty was grating. The best part of a jungle, I’d say, are the abundant toilet facilities. Shit where you like, and plenty of large leaves to wipe yourself. When you live in a fantasy world, you get to relieve yourself in lots of new and interesting places.

Tom asked. "I'm Jonathan. Just call me Joe." "Thanks, Joe. Sorry my friend was such a hassle," Bob added. "No problem. Just relax!" As they spoke, two doctors—Joe’s friends—came by to call for him. "Joe, where’s the juice?" Dr. Kelvin asked. "I want one too!" Dr. Brandon added. "Geez, you guys! Can't you wait a second?" Joe replied, reaching into his bag and pulling out two boxes of strawberry juice in packaging identical to the goat-blood juice from the Mediyoung Company.

Stylists, makeup artists were gone already. Natasha reduced the temperature of the A/C. "Here," She handed me a small glass of liquid. I glanced at her in question. "It’s mango and berry mixed juice. I know it's not alcohol, but it would make you feel better and keep you more hydrated. You will need it as you have a long day ahead." She added. I whispered thanks to her and held the glass against my lips. I drank the juice. It was refreshing and delicious. I put the glass on the side table. Soon, I needed to leave and climb the aisle.

Levi reappears, a red plastic cup in each hand. “Ladies,” he drawls, holding the drinks out toward Nessa and me. I take it from him, staring down into the cup dubiously at the red liquid inside. “It’s jungle juice,” he provides before I can ask. “Tastes like kool-aid, but watch out, that shit is potent.” Nessa takes a sip, swallowing it down and licking her lips. “Ooh, this is yummy.” She turns to me, tapping her cup to mine. “Try it, Vee!”
