It was the most tender kiss they shared. “I love you Maya Asher.”

He set his glass on the balcony, his hand then finding its way to the small of my back so that he could draw me in to him. His eyes shone as if the stars themselves burned within. He leaned forward and brushed his lips across mine. The sensation made my spine feel like it was made of champagne, bubbly and ready to float away. I pressed my lips against his, begging for a better taste. He opened his mouth, the effervescence of champagne permeating my senses. I smiled as I moaned softly. All I wanted was to drink his champagne kisses.

I stared at his perfect lips, wanting to kiss them, as they formed the words. “Yeah, well, I never said I was a good student.” The fingers of one of Noah’s hands made their way to my chin, moving me into a gentle, yet insistent kiss. The kiss deepened, my lips parting to give him more. His kiss was hot and deep, banishing every unhappy thought from my mind. He tucked his head, breaking the connection and allowing me to replenish the much needed oxygen for my aching body. I took an unsteady breath, keeping my eyes closed, feeling lightheaded and wonderful.

Her hand lifted and clumsily brushed against my face, like she was seeing double. I felt my stomach drop. “Aria, focus,” I said sharply. “What—” And that was when I noticed it. The bite mark on her neck. Small, but angry-looking, the faint edges of it swollen. I cursed under my breath as the realization hit me. “Damn it,” I muttered, glancing quickly around us. The insect was gone, but I knew what had happened: she’d been bitten by a bug commonly known as Lovesting. Their venom was potent, filled with aphrodisiacs meant to subdue their victims until the swarm came back to feed.

“ Bella, please open your eyes, don't be shy. Look at me lovebug.” She opened her eyes and stared into mine with those mesmerizing silver orbs. I leaned down to kiss her lips so tenderly. And I sat up and positioned myself in a way that I was kneeling and her legs were over my arms. I held her round soft butt in my hands as I began to pump into her harder and faster.
