I was pulled out of my thoughts when Michael, the boy from the drama club at school, dragged a chair close to me. "Hey, pumpkin. What's popping?" He was one of those guys who asked me out, but I turned him down. Good thing I did because I heard a rumor his dick is quite small, and I'm not trying to settle for less. The man who created the joke was Nate Brighton. “No wonder I’ve smelled something disgusting, there is trash here apparently,” Nate sneered, followed by the laughter of his two friends. “Hey, did you forget to tell your clerk to clean,” his blonde friend sneered . “Hmm, they cleaned up earlier, but the trash show up again,” Nate explained. “Looks like your luxury car collection is very shiny and makes a hobo seem enchanted,” his long-haired friend said. “Nate, I think you need to be generous with him. Just give a little of your money to that beggar!” Nate’s friend exclaimed and mocking Nicko.

I laugh till my leg slipped resulting in my poor butt landing on the floor, he glance back as he also burst out laughing at me. I grunted before managing to stand up in some little little pains, I hissed angrily starring at the laughing clown. “Damn your teeth are so dirty, I wanna puke seeing you laugh with it.” I said to him shutting him up. He looks so defeated he quickly turn and walk away gently, good for him.

It was still there, but lighter. “Yeah, pushy, that’s her,” he agreed. “My type? Girls who laugh at my jokes. Even the bad ones. And don’t mind if I suck at dancing.” “Your jokes? All bad, man,” I teased. I stretched my leg out and shoved his swing with my foot. It twisted to the side and he yelped. “Hey! Not all,” he shouted, trying to shove me back with his own foot. “Remember that one about Jax and the pizza? Gold.”

I alleged trying to see over his shoulder without success because the doors had closed again. "Blame it on the croissants and French toast.” he explained, touching his flat stomach. “I’ll definitely have to eat croissants and French toast in you, all covered in chocolate in you, and if I make a mess with you, I’d clean you with my tongue.” the suggestive look Eli gave him up and down made me feel uncomfortable. But far from bothering Jonny, he gave a tremendous laugh and raised her to give her the same treatment as me, I knew that my friend's comments were harmless, she adored my brothers and always made risqué comments with men.

Johnny sighed dramatically. “Fine.” Five minutes later he regretted his decision. The teacups spun faster and faster while Grace laughed uncontrollably. Johnny gripped the side. “This is a terrible idea.” Grace laughed harder. “Relax!” “I’m going to throw up.” Grace leaned forward and spun the wheel harder. Johnny groaned. “You’re evil.” When the ride finally stopped Johnny stepped out looking dizzy. Grace doubled over laughing. “You should see your face!” Johnny shook his head. “I trusted you.”

I can’t help it, a low, dry laugh slips out, completely out of place, and instantly I feel all eyes on me. “Something funny?” she asks. “No,” I reply quickly, “just… nothing.” Mateo doesn’t say anything, but I notice it, he’s tense, uncomfortable, just as unenthusiastic as I am, even if he hides it better, like he doesn’t want to give them the satisfaction of knowing this affects him too. “Lucas,” Mark says, “what happened to your face?” “Hockey,” I answer without hesitation, “it was a game.”
