Maze smiled awkwardly and anticipated a chance to scold him for choosing such an expensive kind of place to come. As soon as she stepped in the shimmering crystal chandelier dazzled her eyes. She shoved her eyes around, the interior almost left her astonished. The velvety carpet under her feet was so fluffy and rich. She was so busy praising her surrounding that she left behind. She tapped her head as she realized she was lagged behind. She rushed to match his pace. Ryan chuckled seeing Maze gasping for breath next to him,"Did you take part in the marathon? Why are you panting so much?"

CHAPTER 125 ~3RD PERSON’S POV~ Anaya, Derren, and his warrior wolves rushed across each passage, bursting through the large metal walls and cutting straight through the maze. They had run for a while, but the center was still a little far in. The maze was a complicated series of turns that went from sharp turns to curves. “How far is the center supposed to be?” Anaya asked. “Not sure, but we should be there in a few minutes,” Derren replied.

AS WE WALKED, DIFFERENT types of Invent’s and my creatures scurried under our feet. They were monstrous creatures that were part human, animal, and machine. They use the maze to travel to the outside. I even once tried to follow them and use their exit. The second I got within a couple of feet of the tunnels, they went in and out; they attacked me. I got a couple of scars from that experience, so I avoided them after that.

“Yes sir!” the men replied. Once more, Zephyr laid his eyes on the books, his gaze rested on one of them. The book was covered in a layer of dust and was made of bamboo. It looked unique. “Thunderfoot?” Zephyr muttered as he opened the book, reading its contents. A wave of excitement washed over him. He excitedly flipped through the pages, carefully memorizing the technique’s intricate steps.

Whenever he looked at me like that, I felt nothing but goosebumps all over my skin, and my body was suddenly warmer than usual. “If you’re sure, we can start. There are water bottles all over the maze, so you don’t have to worry about being dehydrated. I’ll give you a twenty-minute head start because I am a very fast runner, and I will catch you if it’s less than that. All you need to focus on is getting to the end of the maze.” I agreed. I stood there to catch a deep breath and to decipher whether it was a good idea to play games with a monster, but I ultimately decided it was worth a shot.
