My eyes snap wide open, and my body feels warm; I can feel it sweat. That dream was intense, or should I say memory. It was Sera's memories of the day she fought that evil dragon and sacrificed herself to save the world from his demise. My brain is still fizzled from seeing my grandmother's memories, but I felt I was there to see why Sera did what she did. Me. The evil dragon, Eldron, wanted my mother; still a child, to steal Alice, who wasn't born yet, as his bride. The thought of having a child bride sickens me.

I said. “He looks nearly black, except for the white on his chest,” Elder Neil remarked. “Megan’s dragon is white, not sure if that could be the cause,” I said. “A dragoness?” Elder Charles asked as he sat up straight. “Yes,” I said feeling a bit uneasy. “What a sight! Can we meet her?” Elder Neil asked. “Megan went to visit her mother for a few days, maybe next time Elders,” I said. “Such a pity, well this afternoon surely was informative,” Elder Jackson said.

As the realization that this massive dragon was most likely Murdok Rori grabbed onto the claw still holding her, and she opened her mouth to speak when the sound of Henry’s laughter pulled her attention away. The book was now floating above his hand and as he chanted Rori watched as translucent, almost glowing bones formed into an armor around him and Rori gasped. Henry pointed his hand toward the massive dragon and a zap of lightning shot from his palm straight into the shoulder of the dragon, causing Murdok to scream in pain, but he did not loosen his grasp on Rori. Henry fired a few more bolts that all hit Murdok and Rori couldn’t stand by and watch her stepfather kill the man that saved

Taran looks sad, “No, but something in me says to find my mother first. I want to know where they looked. The books aren’t completely accurate.” “Taran,” my voice is quiet. I want to learn more about dragons. What parts of the myths are authentic, and what are false? “Will you tell me what is true about dragons? I know about the first dragon and the stone. I want to know why you breathe fire. Are you made of fire? What do dragons eat? Are you born as a human or dragon? Since dragons are reptiles, wouldn’t they lay eggs? How did humans conceive dragons?”
