I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

He tilts his head, exposing his neck. I mark him. He is mine as I am his. As for Cane, that’s something to discuss later, months later. My mark doesn’t look like his. It is reddish…the color of a blood moon. It is done. We are bound. Our lips crash together with reckless abandon. I don’t want to wait, and I don’t think he does either. My mark glows and his does too. We rip our clothes off and devour each other. It is only us. No eyes. No pack. Just us expressing our love for each other. We mate again. I tilt my head to get a better look at it, to marvel at what I created on his neck. He was mine now for definite. The mark of a large full silvery moon with its reflection in a body of water underneath. I can make out two wolves laying by the water’s edge, the bigger wolf resting it’s head on top of the slightly smaller wolf. That must be the two of us. This is adorable.

The men nodded and got to work while the others shifted into wolves and darted back into the woods to find their comrades who had been wounded by the beast. Moon's call approached his cottage which was close to a hill at the other side of a narrow stream flowing down into the river at one part of the forest. He walked across the board bridge he had made over the stream to get to his own side. Although he would have easily sprinted through the stream if he was in his wolf form but he didn't really fancy getting wet when he was in his human form.

**UNKNOWN POV** The room was dark...too dark for normal people. There was just a tiny bulb glimmering. But even in the darkness, I could clearly see the symbol of the moon that had been taunting me. There was only one window in the room, which was guarded heavily by the wooden blocks and then with a layer of newspaper. I couldn't see the moonlight, not until I found her. I was looking at the photograph of the mark in my hand.

“But not like this. On Moon Oath, I swear, we’ll rescue them…but only when it’s certain to be every last one.” I shivered at the determination in his voice. There was no way of doubting him. Zhen poked his furry nose out of my pocket. “Aw, wolveie, you missed all the excitement.” Zhen whined, affronted, before flying out to wind around Moon’s throat above his collar like a shimmering scarf. “I missed you too, Wolverine,” Moon smirked. When Zhen bit him, he laughed indulgently like it’d been a hickey. Maybe it was the wolve equivalent.

I followed the path, and soon it spilled out onto the Standing Stones. Seven stones stood in a circle, and mosaic tiles had been set in a circular fashion to the center, where the image of the Moon Goddess was etched on the center circular tile. The gray stones were illuminated blue in the bright moonlight. Everyone stood around the outside of the circle holding their candles.

We notice Hue was staring at Luna. "Hue, what's up?" I asked. "Kyle, I can't believe this. Now that I'm sober, she really looked like Luna." he said. Allen and I almost laugh. "You just notice that?" Allen asked. "No, dude! I mean, in Kyle's painting, Luna has a mole on her left cheek, near her neck. That girl, she has it too!" Allen and I both looked at Luna, and Hue was right. She really has a mole in that very position. I didn't notice that earlier and it made us wonder even more.

“Our ancestor was a traitor. Great news.” “One of our ancestors was a traitor, but it wasn’t by choice,” Liam’s father kept his voice even. “Venom is strong, Liam. It’s incredibly hard to fight it off. Someone has to have incredible will to fight off the effects, and that’s considering the fact that they’ll even want to. We’re imagining that the youngest son really didn’t want to fight off the venom.” “Why? Does venom feel good or something?” Liam asked.
