He smiles smugly not catching my sarcasm and sits back in his seat. My head starts getting groggy again, and I reach up to my forehead. It is bleeding quite a bit and I did not even realize. I put my forehead against the cool glass of the window to try and get some relief as I close my eyes. A wave of pressure falls over me, and it felt like my ears popped like when you are on an airplane.

Her eyes widened in horror. Whooossh, a sudden wind filled her ears, and she heard a loud pop. The side of her head filled with a sharp pang. Jade tumbled over, landing on her hip and arm. Her elbow had scraped against the pavement, causing her to wince. There were footsteps, but she couldn't tell the direction they were coming from because her head was throbbing and her right ear was ringing.

Tears filled my eyes i'mmediately while my ears rung piercely in my head. I absentmindedly wondered whether my nose wasn't broken.. it sure hurt like hell. I reeled back but then before I could gather myself, bright lights all of the sudden flashed in my vision only for a second then a white cloth was slapped on my face. It blocked off my nose, mouth and eyes.

My mouth was half-opened as he walked away. What is he even saying? He suddenly turned. “You should visit the clinic, your ear is bleeding” I raised my hand to touch my ear and I saw blood. WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?

“Are you okay, babe? I don’t answer at first. Instead, I flex my jaw and rub my ears for any sign of damage. Thankfully, the fact that I can hear him means that my eardrums are still intact, but my ears still feel like they’re on fire. He takes my face in the palm of his hands and inspects me. “Your nose is bleeding.” He says as he rubs at my nose with the sleeve of his sweater.

As we stopped, they relived and kept staring at me with a widely opened mouth and bulging eyes. I shushed for a moment and turned to Sara, looked at her for a moment and, Bang! I yelled at her face. It didn’t go well; I had to go back to the hospital as Sara punched me in the face when I yelled at her face, and after she knew I was just kidding. The doctors ended the nose’s bleeding and put a small fixer to keep my nose stable. After they finished, I was about to leave when Sara came to me again in front of the emergency room.

The voice became so loud that it began ringing in my ears and I tried to move my arms to cover them but felt that I couldn’t move at all. A gasp escaped my lips as my eyes snapped open in fright, my hand immediately going to clutch at my chest as my heart raced. I blinked my eyes against the bright lights that streamed through the hospital window then sighed, rubbing my tired eyes. My ears tingled slightly, and I reached a hand up to wipe at the blood that was dripping from my left ear. I rubbed the blood between my fingers with a frown on my face, contemplating.

Judging by the copious blood flowing from my nose, I must have looked like a character from a crime scene. "Yes," I managed to reply through clenched teeth, my eyes brimming with tears – a common reaction when anger overwhelmed me. Mrs. Haggadah dampened the rag and began gently cleaning the blood from my face. She then dipped Q-tip ends into the warm water, carefully tending to the blood inside my nostrils. Afterward, she handed me two pieces of balled-up toilet paper, which I inserted into each nostril, tilting my head upward to stanch the bleeding.

I grabbed a cotton ball and cleaned his ear, then positioned the piercing gun on the spot I marked out. "Okay, take a deep breath." I suggested and he rolled his eyes, causing me to laugh. I pulled the 'trigger' and when I removed it, I smiled at my job well done. But this was only the first ear. Landon hadn't even flinched in the slightest and this made me wonder if he was even human.

"That should hold. Let me check your ears." I sat stiffly as he tilted my head, shining a small light into each ear. "Your eardrums took some damage from the explosion," he said, his tone grave. "But it's not permanent. The ringing should completely fade in a day or two." "Fucking great," I said flatly, my attention already drifting back to the scene around me.
