Nathaniel nodded slowly, “I understand, Sweetheart.”
“I’m not afraid for no reason,” Angela continued. “I just … remembering what happened to you, I’m afraid.”
Nathaniel didn’t deny it, “I know you’re afraid.”
“Then why are you still going?” Angela asked, who now sounded desperate.
Nathaniel took a moment to breathe before answering, “Because there’s something left unfinished.”
