Suddenly we are standing above a projection of the galaxy. Thousands of stars appear beneath our feet. Bright clusters of light marking different civilizations. Matteo stands up again slowly. “That is… impressive.” The Custodian gestures toward a section of the projection. Several stars flicker. Then disappear. “This,” it says inside my mind, “is where the predator passed.” Ezra studies the empty region. “How many civilizations were there.” Thirty two. “And now?” Zero. Matteo whistles softly. “Yeah that is definitely not comforting.”

You made me change for the better, and I always thank the stars every time we see them, 'cause they were the reasons why I met you. Keeping her eyes on the stars she asked outlining them with her finger " How about these seven right there?"
