She even wants to make a blood oath with Bella, Citra, and a Crone High Priestess, vowing to give up her powers as soon as our side wins and the Riding Hoods are gone. "I bought your contracts. I own your battalion now." Nyx’s golden eyes narrowed. She let out a deep, rumbling growl, kicking her heavy kinetic hammer aside. "Deal," Sebastian replied smoothly, his hands resting loosely at his sides. Nyx didn't hesitate. She exploded forward with terrifying, explosive speed for a creature her size. She closed the distance in a fraction of a second, throwing a devastating, wide right hook aimed directly at Sebastian’s head. A blow that could shatter a boulder.

“I’ve been questioning the same thing. But honestly, I haven’t caught Alpha energy. Alpha like qualities, yes, but not energy.” At that moment, Damaro and Valeno walk up. “She is not an alpha, but the qualities she has comes from you Aiden. Nyx spoke softly but Achyls heard every word. It was pitch black outside and as the goddess of night, Nyx's power was the strongest at night.

Nyx’s eyes flutter closed as Knox licks behind her ear, a slow, deliberate stroke that made her sigh. “I’ve been dying to meet you, you know,” Nyx says, her voice weak. “But I have to say, both you and Alec are idiots. How could you let another woman trick you into thinking she’s your mate?” I stifle my laugh, knowing that Nyx has been waiting for this for a long time. My hands drop from the body beneath me. I turned and look up at her. She stands above me, completely untouched. Her milky eyes are kind as they stare at me. She offers me her outstretched hand and I look at it for a moment before looking back up at her. She nods her head and I look down at my hands. I need to call the flames back now but I’m worried I’ll fall apart if I do. I’ve gotten what I wanted and now… now I can stop. I can stop everything now.
