When the Painting Tells the Story

When the Painting Tells the Story

“How can I be like this? Why does it suddenly hurt so much that I want to cry?” The feeling struck a moment after his eyes made contact with the mysterious painting shown by René earlier. At first, it was just a little tightness in his chest, but as the painter went further to tell the story, the feeling got worse. He even cried for a moment before he ran away from his lecturer’s residence. He hoped that René wouldn’t have the chance to see his tears. His body felt weak. He couldn’t even move his legs to get up even after the elevator had arrived on the ground floor, and the door started to open.

Our Story Had Ended Long Ago

Our Story Had Ended Long Ago

Half a month later, in the middle of the night, my phone buzzed with a message. It was from Lex. [Audrey, I'm sorry.] I stared at it for a moment, then put the phone down. I didn't reply. Our story had ended long ago. I closed that chapter. From now on, our lives will go their own way—like two roads that'll never cross again.

Rejected And Reborn

Rejected And Reborn

He drank. I watched until the cup set down. My chest flexed in a quiet, satisfied way. The small machine had recorded, the steam had done its soft work, and the night had bent an inch toward me. Something in me softened for a second pity, perhaps, or understanding. He would not be easy to shape. He would not be simple to fold into a story. But stories like mine do not need many steps. They need one careful picture and then a thousand mouths to tell it. I had the picture. I had the night. For now, that was enough.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

Someone exclaimed behind me. Oh, that"s the protagonist. Well, please enjoy this simple story. Have fun reading. Oh, for your information, at glance, you will be confused why I use present tense on this story, normally a narrative will use past tense instead of the present, eh wait, it"s not a legend, and it"s my own story! Oh dang! "Hurry up you moron!" the protagonist yelled at me. Alright, alright. Enjoy!

Met by chance

Met by chance

I shuddered, my day has finally come, this person is not mentally stable who on earth murders her mother and siblings just for power and status i'd rather be poor. “Glenda you are surrounded by the police “ a voice yelled from outside “ so fast, I thought we will have the whole day to ourselves and play a little seems like we can’t maybe in another life” she hissed and her eyes lit up, its like she was high “ kiss this baby goodbye too like the first one, this one is a little lucky you will see him in the afterlife” she raised her dagger aiming at my bulging tummy, I closed my eyes praying for a miracle

She kisses me back with shy eagerness. The End (or is it only the beginning?) That is it for my short story about Lilly and Mr. Storm. I hope that you liked to read it as much as I liked to write it.

Triplet Alpha Claim

Triplet Alpha Claim

If anything after this all I can is don’t read the story and don’t discredit it because it takes lots time and effort to write a story and make it perfect Chapter One: Prologue Phera POV: Growing up, you always have this one person who would always leave their mark in your life. Whether it be your friend, sibling or parents, but everyone always has that one person. In my case, I had three, but sadly instead of leaving a happy memory in my mind, it was one that, to this day, makes my heart bleed. And bleed to the point where nothing can mend it.

Katherine Jones
the book is good but could use a little bit more proof reading. some different phrases as well instead of saying the same things to each of the brothers. they have different personalities so it would have been nice for it to have been more personal with them. it was a good book none the less.
Victoria Star
it's a good story but author need to focus more on math because is really bad. FL is ninthteen and was in school for eight years so she must go there when she was eleven, but author told us that big heart broken was when she was fifthteen what is four not eight years ago.
