Painful Ear Popping When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

The amount of awareness I had with my current situation is enough to tone down my cries. The cold weather easily dried my tears. It made everything more uncomfortable now that I feel sticky every time I move my face. It’s hard to breathe with my clogged nose. I could breathe through my mouth, but that means the snot can get inside. As much as blowing out all the snot sounds wonderful, that would only make my face stickier. With nothing else to do, I screamed my lungs out. They said you could feel lighter after shouting your frustrations. It did, just a little.

Blair The first thought that crossed my mind as I blinked my eyes open was that the lights overhead were really bright. Painfully so. The next thought was a feeling of discomfort in my nose and throat. Blindly, I reached up to feel around my face, my fingers curling over what felt like flimsy plastic tubes resting under my chin. I followed the tubing until it led up to two prongs up my nose.

I took a deep breath and exhaled after a moment. I gulped and grabbed a tissue out of the tissue box lying on the coffee table. I blew my running nose. When I withdrew the tissue away from my nose, I found it red. Blood! I teared up all over again as I felt my heartbeats increasing at an unbelievable speed. Why is there blood in my snot? I jumped in fright when a stabbing sound echoed in the silent house. I was shaking in fear as I stumbled towards the kitchen holding my bleeding nose with the tissue to try and stop more blood from coming out but it was in vain.

He smiles smugly not catching my sarcasm and sits back in his seat. My head starts getting groggy again, and I reach up to my forehead. It is bleeding quite a bit and I did not even realize. I put my forehead against the cool glass of the window to try and get some relief as I close my eyes. A wave of pressure falls over me, and it felt like my ears popped like when you are on an airplane.

My nostrils begin to sting with the potent smell of antiseptic with undertones of artificial fragrances like soap and… cleaning products. Groaning, I lift my hand to wipe the tip of my nose that burns from breathing and I feel something sharp stabbing my arm, restricting my movements. What the…oh, fuck… my head. Why is it pounding, and why are my ears fucking ringing? “Miss Bishop, can you please open your eyes?” An unfamiliar voice reaches me through the darkness that continues to cling to me. Clenching my jaw, I sigh and slowly begin to peel back my eyelash curtains to unveil my throbbing eyes. Squinting, I try to open them wider, fighting against the bright white light that hangs over me,

To ground myself, as well as feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, I reached for Lucas's hand. The unfamiliar sensation of being so high up in the sky made my ears pop, and I squeezed his hand for comfort. He shot me a reassuring smile, understanding the mix of emotions churning within me. Lucas's blue eyes met mine, concern evident in his gaze. "Did your ears pop, too?" he asked, his attention shifting from the view outside the window to my face. I nodded, a small frown forming. "How do I make it go away?" He offered a reassuring smile. "Try yawning. Sometimes, chewing on a piece of gum helps."

And, in truth he was. “Don't fucking stare at me dude. Do your fucking job and check on her. Am not leaving this room.” Stephano looked at the doctor with a deep frown while Rose got her other hand on her face and shooked her head. The otorhinolaryngologist took out his otoscope from his kit to examine the current condition of her ear. “Your eardrums are a bot whacked but will heal soon. I'll have to run some more tests Ms Foyer.” The doctor gestured to Rose. Rose was already familiar with all of these tests and what the routine was. She didn't even respond at all and kept her eyes staring at the ceiling.

The cuts from the shattered glass had been treated with ointment, leaving her cheek feeling cool rather than burning with pain. She didn't need to guess who had done it. Winter sat on the bed in a daze, but the growing pain in her ear and the feverish heat spreading through her body snapped her back to reality. She immediately remembered what the doctor had warned her only a few days earlier. “If you experience severe ear pain accompanied by a fever, come to the hospital immediately. A perforated eardrum combined with an infection is no small matter. It can seriously affect your hearing if left untreated. You must take this seriously.”

They suddenly felt swollen. “You are having a panic attack.” “I am not, just drive.” I began to pull in more air through my mouth when my nose felt utterly useless. “No sir, I need to help you out here.” The car came to an abrupt halt, then the chauffeur got out. He opened the door, and suddenly a gust of wind filled the backseat of the car, forcing its way through my nose. “You need to loosen your buttons, let the air reach every part of your body, you might pass out.”

His beautiful eyes were showing such expressions such as soulful, caring, and compassionate. I knew he could definitely see my eyes were swollen from all the crying. My breath was also heavy from my blocked nose. It always happens every time I cry, especially when I cry too hard. If I cry too hard, my nostrils and my nasal cavities would feel as if they were blocked because it got too swollen. Once that happens, my eyes also become swollen and hot. For most people, it went away almost immediately. For me, though, it might stay for as long as three days. So I need to keep my condition in mind every time I cry too hard.
