CHAPTER 49 Years flew by and Marcellus was now Alpha Marcellus, he was now 23years old and had taken over the Pack as the Alpha. His parents where still alive and strong, enjoying their time together with each other. Over the years Marcellus had removed the thought of having a mate or even getting one from his mind. Liam and Charlotte's where officially mate and now mated and happy, Marcellus didn't feel like he was lacking out because he didn't have a mate. I stood up, making to move towards the pup, when I heard a soft coughing, and then the sound of a baby quietly crying. I felt tears come to my eyes, as I looked to Marly, who was still in shock. I sat back down, holding her head in my arms, forcing her to look at me. “Listen to that Marly; our pup is alive,” I repeated to her until she finally heard me. I saw tears fill her eyes, “The pup is alive?” she asked me, seeking confirmation even though she could hear it with her own ears.

Willow has definitely taken over. I jump at the one still holding on to Martha's paw, giving him a hard swipe to the face. He let go of her, turning to me to fight me off but I swipe again at his belly giving him a deep wound. I feel a searing pain on my right paw, kicking blindly and throwing him against a nearby tree. I don't let him recuperate before I sink my teeth in his throat, shaking vigorously until he no longer moves. I check on Martha making sure she is fine, she stares at me with wide eyes “You are a white wolf”, she stutters weakly.

Marshall confessed. I was petrified. Even after twenty eight years, he was still searching for a wolf? The last one remaining from that pack.
