Pizza and Bert, all in the same night, is gonna make her sky high.” He chuckled. “I can take it.” After thanking and sending our nanny, Lara, home, I shared tonight’s dinner plans with Fern. As predicted, she soon joined Bert in the living room and was literally jumping for joy. Once I’d placed an order over the phone for two dairy-free pizzas, Fern was back to exclaiming, “Omg, omg, omg!”

Sheena the dog barked at us the moment we get in. "Sheena," Patty greeted her and lift her like a baby. "Look, I got you some food." Sheena keeps barking when she saw the plastic bag that Patty was holding. It was a pizza we didn't get to finish. I look at Sheena, happily eating her food in a cute purple bowl. I get inside our room and start changing into pajamas. I was ready to sleep. "You're going to sleep now?" Patty asked when she got inside our room, chewing some of her favorite junk food, the tortillas.

Kylie said and chuckled. " Ugh... Right" Jill said and smiled awkwardly and quickly turned away from her. "The apron looks good on you anyway" Kylie said and winked. " Mummy, I'm hungry, can I have an hamburger? " Skye said as she nudged her mum repeatedly. "No you can't, you ate those yesterday. I'll make some sandwiches for you and milk... you want chocolate milk, right?" Kylie said and bent down. " Can't I have chocolate cake? " Skye said grumpily as she made a crying face.

Mike nods at me and we leave the building together. Zeus and I are both excited to get to Patty’s to see our girls. I feel like I am speeding like a mad man but only crawling like a turtle. It seems like it takes forever to get there. Finally I pull up to Patty’s. The diner is packed, and I see Patty inside hustling about. I look into the surrounding trees and see the glowing eyes of several of my pack members, in wolf form, patrolling the space to protect their Luna.

I smiled and nodded, reminding myself to stop and at least get his name the next time I was in here. "Have a good night, sir." He smiled and nodded his head at me as we walked by. We all hoped in my car and drove to The Shack. It was a while away, but it was worth it. We walked in, and I called up a Hungry Howie's for the pizza. We got four. One cheese, one supreme, one pepperoni, and one pineapple. I didn't know the person who was working at The Shack, but she seemed really nice.

My face was pale. "How old is the pup?" Rowan pressed his lips together. He looked away, too scared to speak. Tessa, however, released a cloying scent. It was a blatant provocation. "Almost two months. Mine and Rowan's pup." When I heard the answer, I bit my lower lip hard. What a coincidence. Exactly the same age as the pup draining my life right now. My heart felt like it was ripped open by claws. Tears spilled over and burned my cheeks.

I said to him and he kept on barking as a sign of happiness "Look what I brought for you " I inserted my hand into my twenty-year-old bag to bring out the leftover pizza I brought for him. I stood up from where I squatted and jingled the pizza around which made him roll around and jump in circles as he tried to collect the pizza. "Catch!" I threw the pizza two feet away from him and he ran as fast as he could to pick it up. Peanut is an intelligent, playful Scottish Golden Retriever with a dark gold fur color i left him and started walking towards my apartment

Sleepy Sky was gone and Crazy Sky back. " What are you waiting for, baby girl? Let's dig," she said loudly and took out pizza from the bag. I sat beside her. There were 2 boxes of pizza and some cold drinks. We both dug and consume the pizza like a starved animals for ages. I moaned when I took the first bite of pizza in my mouth. It tastes like heaven. We satisfied our stomachs and lay down on the floor. We were feeling exhausted. " Thanks, Sky, for this amazing meal," I said to her genuinely.

I had absolutely zero clue as to how these things worked since I never really met other Packs, but giving something just seemed like a good idea for them to know that I meant no harm. Now that I’m looking at it though, it’s making me really, really tempted to open and get a few bites in. Maybe they won’t notice if I take some… I’m about to take the lid off one of them when Skye appears practically out of thin air, making me jump and almost throwing away precious food. Thankfully, his reflexes were crazily fast and he managed to catch basically everything and sealed the tupperware safely. “No food was harmed,” he joked before shooting me a smirk.
