The Billion Dollar Bet

The Billion Dollar Bet

The kind meant for older kids but that August had started gravitating toward because picture books didn't have enough words. "This one is about a robot who wants to be an astronaut." Carter held up the first book. "And this one is about deep sea creatures. Real ones, not made up. And this one—" He pulled out a thick hardcover. "This one is about how bridges are built. It has diagrams." August's eyes went huge. He took the bridge book with both hands like Carter had given him something precious. Opened to the first page where there was indeed a detailed diagram of bridge architecture. "This is mine? To keep?"

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

"Elijah, just translate 20 pages of that book…we don't have time…also as payments, all this book..are free, and also take 3 gold coins from him...." I want to visit an alchemy store after this, that's why I don't really want to spend a lot of time in here. Since he said that he will pay for the translation, why not take advantage of it. Elijah states the conditions which the old man immediately agreed, as for me I just decided to go deep into the storybooks, while every now and then listening to their translations. The old wizard grim was obsessed and fascinated by Elijah's smooth and clear translations while repeating 'Oh God!' and 'Amazing' again and again. Apparently, the book was about F

Little Prince

Little Prince

The boy practically had to leave home at such a young age, study his butt off in a foreign country, and the least soothing gesture his family could offer him with an open heart is to allow him to sleep for a full three days straight. After closing the door shut behind him, he makes his way towards the living room, plops himself comfortably on a couch, and allows his long lost friend, sleep, to engulf his exhausted body. Now, this is where the real vacation begins. Later that afternoon. "Where is it," Lisa murmurs. " No...no." The grip on your pen gradually tightens and you whip your attention to the girl lying flat on your bed with a magazine in her hold. Her whines and mumbles are faint, ye

The Anointment

The Anointment

Gretchen Marie
She pointed with her finger and ran it down these books looking for a particular cover. “I have been saving this story for the right moment.” She directed her son to sit in the chair and when he sat down, she gave him the book. It looked ordinary to him, but it was obviously special to her. “This is the story of a young man who found a friend while on a journey. It is called ‘The Tale of Meru’.” He looked surprised because he was half expecting another history lesson. “Are you sure you have the right book?” “Yes, Yvayn, I am. I am not as boring as you would like to think I am.”

Reclaimed by My Alpha

Reclaimed by My Alpha(Reclaimed by My Ruthless Alpha)

I wandered through the compound until I found myself in the library, as usual. I browsed the shelves for a while before pulling out a thick book about the northern territories. The book was old, the pages yellowed and crinkled with age, but the hand-drawn illustrations were still beautiful. I got comfortable in one of the chairs near a window and began to read. Most of the content was about trade routes and pack histories, but one chapter caught my attention. It described the far northern mountains—the ones beyond the Thornwood, where no one ever set foot.

I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

Always Be Mine

Always Be Mine

"It's my final year, and Leah really wants me to go on this trip with her. There's going to be about twenty people going, and a teacher accompanying us." "Which teacher?" "Ms. Wilson, our literature teacher." "What is the trip for?" "Well, we're studying a book called A Movable Feast by Ernest Hemingway which is set in Paris, and there's a series of sceneries in the book that we'll visit during the trip." "I mean, since it's your final year, I'm sure a trip to Europe wouldn't hurt," My mom said. My dad was about to open his mouth to ask more questions, but my mom cuts him off, diverting the topic.

Pregnant For My Billionaire Crush

Pregnant For My Billionaire Crush

“I would like to help little kids like me too. I will make friends with them and share some of my storybooks with them.” “That’s so generous of you,” Raphael smiled warmly “And that’s why you should come with us. We will travel the entire world, anywhere you want, going on awesome adventures and helping different kids from around the world.” “Really?” Jake asked, marvelled. Anybody could easily win his heart with these kinds of things. “Mmmmh,” Raphael nodded and I couldn’t help but smile inwardly because he was feeling like a superhero daddy. “Alright. I left my storybooks in my room. I’ll just need to get them then we can be on our way.”

Why do you Author make FL martyrs always? They suffered abuse, mentally, sexually and physically, but they go back to the same guys because of “love”? Please, teach this young generation that they can choose to leave their abuser, never go back, and they will be just fine or even better

Trillionaire After Divorce

Trillionaire After Divorce

" ‘Yes’, said the big hairy fox. He did not want to share his food but-" I stop reading the picture book when I notice Marigold and Luca’s small arms that should be tapping the pictures excitedly aren’t moving. They were sleepy, perhaps jetlagged. Ah, to be young and allowed to rest. I press my lips against each of their foreheads and expertly lift my body from the small bed they are sharing. It was cramped with me there. "Are you okay?"

I love this story! Und Cov Ost can create flawed characters with many in-depth layers. The dialogue and banter is often funny even during dramatic scenes. There are so many twists and turns, the plot keeps throwing me thru a loop. This story keeps me on the edge, I never know what to expect next.

There are some books that barely catch your interest, & then some you can't put down. Couldn't put this one down, it drew me in; before I knew it I was addicted to the D'amico brothers. I couldn't wait for the next update, & constantly checked for the next chapter. Thoroughly enjoyed these books.

Uncanny Affair With My Boss

Uncanny Affair With My Boss

I would soar across borders and continents as the wind hovers against my face. Goddamn!! I miss my childhood so much, and my mother was one person who made it more memorable for me. We shared so many awesome memories, even when she fell sick, she still made time for me. She would read me lovely fantasy books, she would take me into the world of dragons, talking cats, and pigs of course; Winnie the Pooh was my favorite piglet. Too bad what the world has done with that character in this generation, they are ruining my childhood with the new development. Speaking of childhood and stories, I loved books like Alice and wonderland; the adventures of young people in mysterious lands. One of my favo
