The two ships were now hooked together by a big black chain, these humans were really joking with their lives. Suddenly, a dozen haggard looking humans swung into our ship, they looked like touts or cultists, and they carried pistols and rusted cutlasses. Low budget pirates, I bet they thought they had stumbled into easy prey, fools! Their captain who was apparently their leader, was a middle aged call clownish looking man with a patchy beard. He came forward and twirled a blade.

When he did, he felt Roy gradually relaxing against him as well, his back curving naturally to his chest. “Tell me the joke,” he murmured into his ears. His voice was hesitant when he said, “Are you sure?” “Yes.” He cleared his throat. “So, there were three guys stranded on an island.
