We had the same blonde hair, same hazel eyes, and same heart-shaped face. But there was one thing different about us. Chloe had a wolf but I didn’t. That was the reason why I was nervous. I was about to be Luna but I still hadn’t discovered my wolf. As werewolves, on our 21st birthday, we discovered our wolves. But it had been two years since my 21st birthday and I still didn’t have a wolf. The worst part was that my twin sister discovered hers on our 21st birthday. I wondered if something was wrong with me or if I was cursed.

Maven was by his side moments later, he was busy with his balms and ointments. Shani was helping him with the ingredients, while Rain was pacing himself back and forth. His eyes kept on changing colors. Shani looked at me watching the changes in Rain, then she explained to me. "His wolf is struggling from the inside, the red color eyes are his wolf's. He wants to resurface, but Rain is not letting him. He must've felt that it was his wolf's fault that Ranulf was hurt." She looked at him sadly.

Reluctantly I put my hand on Clayton’s shoulder to get his attention. Clayton turned around to meet my eyes. For those who hadn’t seen him angry before I had to admit it was a terrible sight. His rage filled eyes were a dark blood red colour. His inch and a half long fangs, that usually weren’t there, had grown in response to the emotionally charged situation. When he noticed it was me his eyes softened slightly. Alpha Clayton had both werewolf and vampire blood so his inner beast was a hybrid. So when he got pissed enough his wolf/ vampire would surface. As a result Alpha Clayton’s wolf Xavier was a bit different than most wolves. He was much more cruel.

A dense ring of werewolves tightened around the two wolves in the center. Both brown, powerful, they are frozen on opposite sides of the circle. Bending down, ready for the next jump, not taking their eyes off each other, they waited. The fact that there had already been clashes was indicated by the crimson fur on their skin. Each left a mark on his opponent. The snowy glade was covered with dark spots - bloody footprints. The werewolf with the yellow stripe on his skin was alert. His eye contact with the enemy was broken, and his gaze darted among the werewolves in search.

His wolf growled out, his black eyes turning gold, a sign of his wolf emerging from its slumber, only for his sister’s own black eyes to turn copper, challenging his with a small snarl. Being born from a powerful alpha like their father, as well as a strong-willed and outspoken woman as a mother, all three Knox siblings were born as an alpha and to say the least, it had led to an interesting family dinner, one of which is far more than enough to give their parents a headache for a lifetime.

I pushed her off, "come let's cook... And I don't wanna be mad at you. Right now I just wanna treat you right." "me too.. So, as we deal with a place that is raining wolves... no more fighting..?" "no more fighting.."

And as I sucked in a shaky breath, I saw Rain shift. His wolf was even more magnificent than I remembered. The night I’d first seen Rain’s wolf, I hadn’t really taken in the magnificent sight that was his wolf. His size was formidable, easily the biggest wolf I’d ever seen. His thick, dark brown fur spilled over his muscular frame, the color so rich and gleaming it looked almost unnatural in the chandelier shine. He seemed otherworldly. As if the earth itself had carved him from shadow and fire. His eyes glowed with a feral gold that burned hotter than the sun. His growl rolled like thunder, vibrating deep in my bones…

I got this hunch that he'd become aware of my gaze and was about to return it, so I looked away immediately. "Are you aware that the rainbow is just an illusion?" He asked turning to me, with that cute smile still playing on his lips. "Huh?" "The rainbow," he repeated, pointing towards it "it's an illusion cast on the sky due to the reflection of light" "Really" I said. He scoffed and silence reigned once again. I figured it was now time to part ways before he begins to grow on me. "I'm about to go in now," I said reluctantly "Which hospital building do you stay?" I grabbed the arms of his wheelchair.

It materialized before her, its form an embodiment of strength and grace. The spirit of the wolf stood tall, towering over Claire with an imposing presence. Its fur shimmered with a kaleidoscope of hues, mirroring the vastness of the natural world it symbolized. From the darkest obsidian to the palest silver, each strand of its coat told a story of survival, resilience, and unwavering spirit.

“I’m not sure, Alpha, they just keep coming.” Jonathan replied. Romero shifted as he ran towards the border. Aidrien was happy to be set free. Romero’s wolf was massive since he is an alpha. His fur was the color of an intense midnight black. He ran with all his might and howled to call the pack warriors to join him. He soon came upon the battle taking place and joined in the fight. He fought with a dark brown rouge that lunged at him. He got so focused on the battle as more and more kept coming that he actually started to enjoy it a little too much. ~back at the hospital~
