Rebecca Novel Summary Novels & Stories

The street was glittering from the beautiful Christmas decorations that adore every house and shop. It must feel nice to belong to one of those happy families behind closed doors, sharing laughter and the holiday spirit with people who love and genuinely care for you. But here I was roaming the street with the hope of getting something to eat, even a dry bread at this moment would taste like chicken fries. I was alone, hungry, and homeless. My name is Rebecca Sally and I am sixteen years old. I have been homeless for the past nine months. My story is quite a depressing one, it's not your regular story of beautiful girls and boys falling in love or peeps that were born with magical powers.

The two of them were extremely close to each other. Rebecca's hands froze in midair when she heard the door creak open. The two of them turned toward the door in unison. Colin's face twisted when he saw me standing at the door with my phone. He let go of Rebecca, took a step backward, and straightened his back. "You! What are you doing here?" Rebecca shrank back against the pillows. Tears streamed down her face as her shoulders slumped. "It's not what you think, Natalie," she said. "I… I just had a nightmare. Colin was comforting me…"

She faced me, "keep him dangling, Rebecca. Boys like him need to be kept dangling cause they're nothing but loads of trouble." Spinning on her small legs, she sauntered away, muttering under her breath about how she wouldn't admit she missed him. Becca hid a smile and wouldn't meet Luke's can-you-believe-her?look. She walked into her room and giggled, closing the door. She missed Luke which was normal. Who wouldn't miss a guy that could make you laugh? As she smiled and was about to undress, somewhere in her mind full of thoughts, she registered the glint of metal and the click and shutter of a camera nearby just outside her window.

Mrs Rita jumped slightly, clapping with her two hands clasped almost covering her mouth. The doctors and nurses went round the bed attending to Becky. In a few minutes, the doctors all dispersed and Becky could fully open her eyes. As Becky opened her eyes, she saw things in all red and nothing more, soon the color red seemed to fade off from her eyes and it evolved into tiny dots before everything became a bit hazy. She sees two persons in the room but could not clearly see their faces. She saw the figure who sat far get up from the bed, the figure walked towards her. As the figure came closer to her everything became clearer. She could see who got near her and who placed her hands on her c

She would proactively step into the Hayes family once more to make him pay, piece by piece. However, just as Evelyn’s fingertips brushed against the edge of the marriage contract paper— "Wait!!" A frantic, piercing shriek suddenly erupted from the direction of the staircase. Before Evelyn could even grab the paper, a figure rushed forward like mad. Sera Vance violently snatched Dominic’s marriage contract right out from under Evelyn’s hand. Her face was flushed red and she panted heavily, but her eyes shone with an intense, desperate greed and longing. Right on her heels was her stepmother, Mrs. Fiona.

I had to see Rebecca. I knocked and told the housekeeper to tell Rebecca I was there. She looked taken aback to see me, but nodded. Seconds later, Rebecca surfaced at the doorway. “What are you doing here? Is everything okay? Is Anna okay?” She asked slightly panicky. I could not help noticing how gorgeous she looked in her white pajamas with her long dark hair falling onto her shoulders. “Phillip?” She asked, puzzled by the way I was staring at her. I pulled her into my arms and smooched her passionately.

Rebecca replied her sharply, confident about her decision. Tracey scowled at her. Rebecca looked at her plainly, unthreatened by the scowl. She carried her daughter in her arms and left the room with her. She climbed down the stairs. They were halfway down when Rebecca saw Williams. He was climbing up the stairs. His eyes met hers. He looked away and cut them dead. He climbed the remaining stairs and went straight to the room. Rebecca watched him until he had left completely. She heaved sadly and climbed down. She walked to the front door and pulled it open. The horseman held the carriage door open when he saw her. She got in and the door was closed.

Hunter noticed that he looked deep in thought but that only lasted for a second because Rebecca went to take the rock next his. "How come you only have book 3 of The Mafia Family?" Rebecca was asking him. "No book 1 or 2." He chuckled. "Because that's the only book where their whole system is actually brought down." Rebecca nodded. "Interesting." "Which book did you pick?" "This one." She showed him the cover. "Not really a crime girl but it's all you got." "What do you like?" "Romance." "Why am I not surprised?" Rebecca laughed. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Rebecca planted many roses in the place where she lived. In the first year, when the bouquets were in full bloom, Rebecca was released from the hospital, having survived a near-death experience. Her family found her, and they also saw the flowers she had grown. Recalling those days, Rebecca didn't consider her time abroad to be particularly difficult. Especially after returning to the Johnson family, Rebecca realized that those hardships weren't such a big deal after all. Perhaps all the hardships were meant to lead her to her true family and better people.

Physically and verbally becoming more aggressive, he started to accuse Rebecca of being the cause of his problems and failures. Rebecca tried to stay strong and focus on finding a way out, but the constant verbal abuse and isolation were taking a toll on her. She felt trapped and hopeless, wondering if she would ever be able to escape. One day, when John was away on business, Rebecca managed to find a way to pick the lock on her door. She quietly made her way through the house, careful not to make any noise, and found the front door was unlocked. Rebecca hesitated for a moment, wondering if it was a trap, but she knew she had to take the chance. She slipped out of the house and started to ru
