MOIRA POV Mouthwatering smells fill the house as I busy my hands in the kitchen. The rogues are here! Someone has died, and Lisa left to check on Scott/Emmett. My mind is in a panic, but my body and face look calm. The house is so quiet. The silence would eat me alive if I stop cooking. Why can't they just leave us alone? Why do rogues have to kill, kidnap, and torture other wolves? Why do they hate their own kind that much? Why does misery need company?

We were having a conversation of a book I'd just finished reading, 'No, Mr Harry Botter, do not turn me into a witch.' Believe me, it was a real book alright. The author was named Harry Botter, so he was the main character of his novel. Stories like that, what do they call them again? Paranormal stories, they were always fun to read. Partly because they were stupid, other part, they were nonsense. Nothing but ridiculous lies.

Upon picking up the book of “The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt,” she felt a vibration—it was almost electric. The book seemed to quiver at her touch, or so she thought. She immediately put it down, afraid to touch it. Her heart was beating so fast. After some minutes of staring at the book, she took a deep breath and touched the said book again. It did not shake this time, so she thought she might just have an illusion on that feeling. Hence, she started reading where their class left off.

When dusk goes to darkness the forest goes silent and the creatures disappear. The same scenario repeats itself every time … first I hear a deep growl and then I see the enormous figure, making the trees rattle. After that a hissing sound and a hoarse laughter from the other side. The creatures moved into the open space at the same time. The big monster with the shining green eyes roars angrily at me and the smaller figure hisses while it's sharp nails scratches on the stone it hides behind. The weirdest thing is that I am not afraid. I know that they would kill me if they could get to me, but I am still just standing there, totally calm, because I know they can't enter the stone circle.
