Not when he's smiling and laughing, and eating bacon with them.

Gabby had buried half her face into Seris’ shoulder, muttering curses every time the music crept into that uncanny high-pitched warning tone. Halfway through, the first real jump scare hit. A ghostly figure appeared in the mirror behind a character, paired with a sudden screech of sound. Gabby shrieked and threw her popcorn straight into the air, making everyone around her burst into laughter—even Cato cracked a grin. “WHY do I do this to myself?!” Gabby whispered, heart racing. “You love it,” Seris teased, patting her knee. Another scare followed, and this time it was Rory who gasped and instinctively grabbed Seris’ arm. “Okay, that one wasn’t fair. That mirror thing—classic, but rude.”

The lycans below crouched, rearing to attack. While they were lean and toned, the bears were huge and robust, and despite myself, a part of me started to grow scared for them. But the fear vanished once a bear dropped down on all fours and attacked, surging forward with a bone-chilling roar. A huge lycan dashed at it with lethal speed, leaping on his hind legs to tackle it down, slicing a claw down its face.

These are reserved only for our little rag-tag group. When Carson was little his favorite cartoon has something to do with bears, so he just gave me the nickname Moon Bear and called himself Sun Bear. Lachlan became Lock Bear, then Jase became Earth Bear, Arson became Air Bear, and Ransom became Death Bear. Weston came along after Carson's death so I deemed him West Bear.

All of a sudden some bikers came forward from behind them and drove past me as they were now surrounding me with their bikes, roaring the engine to scare me. "I didn't know that cats are this clever to play with those kinds of toys."The Scar face said all of a sudden, getting into the conversation. Oh, I forget he speaks. He looks good when he keeps his mouth shut because whenever he speaks up it doesn't help at all. In fact his voice and presence sucks up your confidence leaving you stammering. "That shouldn't bother you." I said looking direct in his eyes but when he raised his bruised eyebrow at me,I started to blink several times and quickly diverted my gaze away from him.
