Scout X Tracer Novels & Stories

Bentley and Garrett were his best friends in high school - out of all the other guys they were closest to him so they were devastated too. Chase became an amazing architect and spent a lot of time travelling around the world to study and discover ancient architect and artefacts and then later on settled in Belgium where he continued working with architect and construction and met a girl named Sabrina. Sabrina was a high school history teacher and she and Chase found themselves quite interested in each other and now are married. They also adopted a little boy who is now eight.

I sniff him deeply, imprinting his scent as deeply as possible. All wolf families bury their loved ones' scents into their memories. It makes it easier to locate lost family members. And as the head Royal Tracker, I want my adopted family embedded into my mind. Before I left, I didn't really get the chance to bond with Little Mike or scent imprint him. "He has been asleep for a while. You can take him, Lance," Moira says while unclasping a couple of straps. I hoist him up and lay him against my shoulder.

Yet, I was so wrong. When I saw Jackal that day, I saw something in him that made me back out and depart the room. A ray of light, though not a dazzling one, united Scarlet and Jerk. Looking into my clairvoyance, I realised I had underestimated my enemy. Not only was he linked to Scarlet, possibly someone she had known when young, he was also not an ordinary human.

As our heavy rover passes the ancient archive building, the local dispatch post, the tavern, and the pack market, every single head turns to track our scent. Perhaps the Nightclaw Rover is still far too loud for this small community. "Fuck," I whisper, my eyes locking onto the brush up ahead. "The crystal-feed sirens are already waiting on our trail." Sure enough, my eyes spot the rogue scouts holding long-lens devices, tracking our arrival like predators. Luka instantly dips his heavy shoulders down below the dashboard line, refusing to let their lenses capture his male face through the front glass.

Behind us, my pack finished off the remaining rogues while I checked Cassie for injuries. “Is she alright, Alpha?” I looked up to see Tracer kneeling beside us. He held his injured left arm close to his side. Blood oozed from the nasty gash in his biceps. “Scratched up and bruised, but she’ll be alright.” I held her close to my chest to feel the steady beating of her heart. “You should go to the infirmary, Tracer. Get that wound disinfected.” “She saved me,” the youngster said. “She threw rocks at that thing, and it charged her. Locke shouted at her to run, but she didn’t.” He looked at her with open admiration.

"Black sedan, three o'clock. It's been sitting two lanes over since the last toll plaza. Tinted windows, no plates." I glanced to the right. A sleek, high-end Audi was pacing us, its engine humming with a suppressed power that didn't match the speed of traffic. It stayed perfectly level with the trailer. I felt the familiar prickle of adrenaline at the base of my neck. Elena's reach was long, and if she had already made contact with the remnants of the Death Dealers in Florida, this was just the welcoming committee. "I see him," I replied, shifting my weight and dropping a gear. The engine of my scout bike a stripped-down Kawasaki I was using for the trek growled in anticipation. "He's measu

“They know the scout is coming.” Matteo snorts. “I mean it is not exactly subtle.” The Custodian adds more detail. The scout has increased its velocity again. Severiel tilts his head slightly. “That is interesting.” Ezra glances at him. “What.” The angel points toward the projection. “It is not trying to avoid the coalition vessel.” The scout’s trajectory becomes a straight line. Direct. Aggressive. Matteo frowns. “That thing really wants to fight.” Severiel’s voice softens slightly.

“Jerry, I’m with you. I’m in this damn tunnel for you. Stop listening to that shard!” “Focus, Sasha,” Levin said, his voice hard. “You find them, confirm who this hunter is. No fighting. Scout only.” “Scout?” I laughed, bitter, my knife glinting in the dark. “Levin, if Tara’s here, she’s trouble. She doesn’t talk—she hunts. I can take her.” “No,” Levin snapped. “You’re pack now. You follow orders. Scout, report back.” “Orders?” I muttered, my voice low, moving forward. “I’m a hunter, Levin. I know these tunnels. If Tara’s with Brad, I can stop them.”

"Out back, you got something, Alpha?" "Yep. Is there a tracker scanner in the van?" "Yes, Alpha. All our vans are equipped with built-in scanners. If he has one in him anywhere, whether it is operational or dormant, it will be neutralised." "Good. Wouldn't want to give the Hunter's a direct path back to the pack... Are you staying or coming back with me?" "I'm going to stay for a while, Alpha. Meet up with Hudson and compare information and see what's new." I cut the link and turn back to Charles, as I say,

This man was a double-edged sword to them, and Zen decided to keep an eye on him for now. The “Tracer”, ranked #85, had a unique ability that Zen learned was part of his mafia family’s unique skills. As his nickname suggested, he could use psychometry to calculate the probability of people and objects passing through an area with limited information. His observation skills were the best, and Zen wanted him to be part of the reconnaissance team.
