One girl and one boy, smiles on their faces as they both let the wind sway their swings. An image of a girl with long, red, wavy hair flashed before my eyes and smiled at me, very tender and sweet like it would end my immortality. Then she collapsed into the floor. The vision went black. My hands were shaking and I was having a hard time catching my breath due to shock. Fucking dream! No. It was a nightmare!

"There are voices of people that linger when their lives are unjustly taken from this earth," Crystal said. "Voices of blood, and people who can't get justice for themselves. These voices belong to the souls of the dead, and the innocent. They can haunt you, torment you, and even try to kill you if they are strong enough. They are like air. They can't be seen. They can't be touched. They can be felt, but mostly through one's hearing. They glide in the air. The strong wind can stop them, and so can fire. Nature doesn't necessarily stop them, but anything too loud for you to hear them can temporarily stop them. And that is why they are called whispers.

Everyone that received that whisper soon shrieked at the top of their lungs with a shut mouth. Apparently, they were still under the silent spell recited by Shadow. While screaming, their veins bulged, their flesh became hot and turned red and their pupils dilated. Their bodies wiggled on the floor, yet, couldn’t even move properly as if their bodies were glued on the floor. They were screaming wordlessly so much to the point, their tears became blood, their eardrums burst and their mouths vomited blood. The blood gushed out everywhere, crept them up.

She napped herself out of her fantasy She took off her shoes and snuck quietly into the living room careful not to bang the door, But when she turned around and her eyes met with three other pairs, two of them shinning with anticipation while the other scowled with spurn, her plan of making a quiet entrance went up in smoke. “Hello everyone,” Amanda grimaced “It smells like a walk of shame in here,” Barack sniffed the air dramatically, while Angela and Mercy broke into peals of laughter. “Tit tat,” Barack clucked his tongue contemptuously “I knew you had a concealed schema, I revoke your sainthood,” he chimed in as he took the flip flops from her.

Phil watched the conversation between the two even though he could not understand both of them he was curious about what will happen. Moments later the shadow figure nodded its head at the boy, it slowly raised its hand and from it, a blinding light manifested. As the light slowly traveled between them, a black miasma seeped out of the boy, his complexion slowly turning pale. Both light and dark met in the middle of the two parties as the space between the two tore the forces that converged swallowed everything, everything was gone like a canvas stripped out of its paint, the world was white and what was left was the shadow figure and Phil who watched the whole thing. The Shadows whispered in a cacophony of voices, each one distinct and unsettling, their tones ranging from menacing growls to mournful sighs. "A life for a life, a price you must pay." They slithered. Their words gave me chills. It seemed like more of them kept appearing as the seconds went by and I had a terrible feeling something extremely bad was about to happen. "Who have you chosen to take?" I asked them reluctantly. I honestly didn’t even want to know, but The Shadows dissipated, and within minutes returned with a woman. She had her back to me, but I would recognize those blonde space buns anywhere.

As the light dissipated, The Shadows slowly, almost reverently, lowered Roxy's body back to the ground, their dark forms receding like a macabre tide. The Shadows' collective voice whispered through the air, a soft, sinister hiss that sent a shiver down my spine. "Your debt isss fulfilled, Massster." With that, they began to dissipate, their dark forms unraveling like tendrils of smoke, until they were nothing more than a faint, unsettling memory. As they vanished into the void, the icy chill that had accompanied their presence began to recede, leaving behind an unsettling sense of calm, like the stillness that follows a storm.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her.
