Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

’ The corner of my lips lowered in sadness. ‘Lilith, he told that he hadn’t read that book but saw it once. Nyla’s POV I'm drawing a pentagram on my apartment floor with sidewalk chalk at midnight on a Tuesday because apparently this is what my life has come to. There’s a leather-bound book open beside me, old, as if it survived the Victorian era. I found it at an estate sale last weekend, buried under a box of porcelain cats, which feels like the universe burying a loaded gun inside a Build-A-Bear. It was quite an… interetsing book. She looked around, trying to find something to do. A shelf in the corner caught her eye. The doors of the cabinet slid open automatically when she went closer. The sight was one to behold. The shelf was filled with books. All of them ancient paperbacks. Sia picked one of them and inhaled deeply. She loved the smell of books.

I turned her back from the ghosts and started walking back. The hallway is no longer pitch black but it looks like a different place now. Instead of the doors of the rooms, she can see nature now. The side where my room should be located is now a part of a stream. There's no way I can get back to my room and most importantly, to my body.

I quickly come across a book on bonds, but it takes me ages to find one about demons. I search through every book and shelf until, finally, at the very top, I spot a small, extremely dusty book. Although it doesn’t explicitly say “demons,” its title, “Monsters of Our World,” is the closest I can find.
