Side Book Novels & Stories

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

’ The corner of my lips lowered in sadness. ‘Lilith, he told that he hadn’t read that book but saw it once. Maybe the book has clear title as white wolf or something which could tell it is about us’ Irene was right, I asked Adrian to read the side labels of every book carefully, it will be somewhere here. ‘Ok, I am going to that side, meanwhile you check in this area’ Library was big, and my head pounded at the thought of how tough it’s gonna be to find that book. I started from very right of the door and begin skimming the titles.

Sia was shocked at the pace Mr. Ben’s personality changed. When he was not wearing the CID, he was warm and friendly. Once he wore it, he became cold and reserved—even his manner of addressing her changed. Since she didn’t know how to go back to her room, she remained seated. She looked around, trying to find something to do. A shelf in the corner caught her eye. The doors of the cabinet slid open automatically when she went closer. The sight was one to behold. The shelf was filled with books. All of them ancient paperbacks. Sia picked one of them and inhaled deeply. She loved the smell of books.

I turned her back from the ghosts and started walking back. The hallway is no longer pitch black but it looks like a different place now. Instead of the doors of the rooms, she can see nature now. The side where my room should be located is now a part of a stream. There's no way I can get back to my room and most importantly, to my body.

Although it doesn’t explicitly say “demons,” its title, “Monsters of Our World,” is the closest I can find.

I was still safest with Jackson, even if he was acting like a jackass right now. Coming to the west side of the house was a living room with gray furniture and mahogany floors and walls. A fireplace and vinyl decorated this sparse room that had only another small collection of bookshelves that my fingers traced over from curiosity. All unique editions came beneath the pads of my fingers and I hated how the small details made my lip lift with a coming smirk.

I called out to her. "It's not about where they sit to read, it's what they sit to read." She said vaguely and I arched a brow at her. She inclined her head towards the small table beside the couch and I took a step closer to it, lifting up the books to examine them. Something twitched in my jaw and I ground my teeth together as I stared at the books in my hand. 'A Luna's guide around a pack' 'How to be a good luna.' 'The ideal Luna.'
