A Night With My Ex's Father
Sidney asked absent-mindedly, rummaging through her bag to retrieve a pencil case that overfilled with highlighters and markers.
"I'm good," I drawled, still a little confused. Gazing around the library, I saw all the empty tables that Sidney could have sat at.
"Great!" she beamed, opening her textbook. She tucked her short hair behind her ears, using two heart shaped clips to keep it in place. I don't think I've ever seen anyone that happy to be hunched over a textbook.
"Where's Nina?" Sidney asked, folding her bare arms on the table.
"Chemistry," I answered, scowling slightly. "Why?"
