Chapter 10: OSCAR'S POV: The red lighting in Darkar pulsed like a heartbeat, casting long shadows across the velvet walls of my private suite. The club was so dark, so intense, the darkness was choking my neck. My heart wasn't beating calmly. It was chaotic and filled with a tightness that made me anxious. I was on edge.
