His quick thinking had saved Adriel from being discovered, but he knew this was far from over. Darwin's presence meant trouble, and Adriel's secret was still at risk of being exposed. Steven said to me before he walked out. I grabbed a slice a pizza and got up from the table with Seth. We walked out the front door and stood next to Steven. “What you heard?” I asked him. “So, you guys linked up with the hybrid dude?” He asked. “Yes, we did.” Seth said. “Why?” “So, him breaking the treaty is real?” “Of course it is.” He nodded his head. “Why are you working here?” “You didn’t here about the Hale pack disbanding?” Seth and I looked at each other before we turned back to him.

Steven is the first to speak. "It was good that you two didn't do it too last night! Or else, I'mma kill you all!" Leon laughs and do the tapping hands with Steven. "You're the only one who don't have partner now. Stop waiting for my wen-wen, you'll be single forever." He said. Steven gave him a middle finger sign and they both laugh again. "Just don't hurt him again. If you do, fight me but I'll forcefully take him from you." Steven said seriously.

But Steven also understands why he has to be so strong for his partner because falling apart will only leave her alone with no one to lean on emotionally. "It does not matter, tonight. What I want you to know now is that I love you, and that includes all of you. The messed up and beautiful sides, I want them all with no doubt. You are now stuck with me. So don't push me away again because I have made my decision to stay, okay?" Steven replied.

I bit my lip as I seemed to feel the bitterness in my heart when I saw Steven’s smile in front of them. Contrary to what I thought he was sad all the time, that even though there were many people around him he still felt he was alone because I was not by his side.
