I am twenty years old, and I have been a rogue my whole life. I don't know who my parents are. I don't know if they are dead or alive or if they ever wanted me. I don't know anything about where I came from. All I know is that I have been on my own since before I can remember, stealing and lying and fighting just to stay alive. That is what rogues do. We do the dirty work. The illegal work. The work that packs do not want to admit needs doing. In return, we get money, food. A chance to see another day.

Swiftly spinning the knife in my hand, I repositioned it to stab him directly in the heart. With one down and four to go, I forced myself to endure another whip when I heard Stormie scream again. This time, the whip came down on my side, as I had rolled to my side when I stabbed the rogue. Although I knew it would be better to endure another attack from one of the baseball bat rogues, I couldn’t waste time to take a few more out. Hoping Stormie would be able to withstand more pain, I sat up and flung the dagger at the rogue with the whip. It nailed him between the eyes just as he swung the whip at me again. Catching the end of the whip, I pulled it toward me without any resistance.

The rogue shakes its head and still doesn’t shift, whining, morosely, as it continues to cower. I follow the aqua thread that is connected to the rogue and quickly breech its mind. Me: ‘You need to shift back now, or I will be forced to kill you.’ Rogue: ‘How...' Me: ‘It’s one of my gifts. Now do as I said.’ Rogue: ‘I can’t shift. I am stuck this way.’ Me: ‘Why?’ Rogue: ‘I can’t tell you.’ Me: ‘You can’t, or you won’t?’

“Did you think you could lay your filthy hands on what’s ours and live to tell about it?” The rogue whimpered, clawing at Xavier’s wrist, but Xavier didn’t let go. Instead, he ripped out his heart. The limp body dropped, but Xavier barely looked at it before stepping over it like trash and moving for the next. Rolex was a storm of rage, moving so fast I could barely see him. He tackled two rogues at once, his claws tearing through muscle, his movements a deadly dance. One rogue tried to run, but he caught him by the throat, slamming him against a tree so hard the trunk cracked.

It might not be necessary to shift, and it will be much easier to fight if I’m not wearing a dress. As soon as I’m dressed, I step outside and immediately hear a snarl. I turn to the left and there is a brown rogue wolf stalking towards me. You can always identify the rogues because they look mangey and deranged, like a dog who’s been abused and beaten. His fur is filthy, with a few patches missing, and he smells like vulture vomit. The combination of death and decay mixed with the burning, acidic scent of vomit is the worst possible combination.

Taylor was right beside him fighting off viscously. Wuh-Push! a sound snagged next to Ryan. Ryan turned to find one of the Rogues attacking him with a Whip. He ducked to avoid the next snap, leaped and rolled over the water edge. "They are using Whips, WHIPS? for God's sake... is this some kind of circus," roared Luka. Sounds of yelling and howling were heard around as the Rogues started to attack his pack with whips and staffs, some even wielded Surujin, a type of chain-like a whip. "Don't you guys back off, kill them without hesitation," growled Ryan.

Unlike how I found him unconscious and butt naked. "Why did you leave your pack, Peyton?" He questions, eyes never leaving mine. "Stepping foot into this land as an exiled wolf makes you nothing but a rogue. And we do kill rogues, or lock them up because they're never to be trusted." The lines on his forehead are furrowing as he makes this known to me.

Xandar growled a second time before he broke the rogue’s nose, left ear and fractured his chin before shouting, “HOW DARE YOU SPEAK ABOUT OUR QUEEN IN THAT MANNER?! IF SHE DIDN’T ASK ME TO SPARE YOUR LIFE, YOU’D JOIN YOUR FRIENDS IN HELL RIGHT NOW!” The rogue smirked, “Spare my life? She left me here to be tortured. I’ve shown her mercy by killing her.” It was Xandar’s turn to smirk, “Now, who told you that she isn’t still alive and well?” The rogue registered Xandar’s arrogant declaration, and his eyes were suddenly filled with horror as he muttered under his breath, “That’s not possible. It was silver. He’s bluffing. You’re bluffing!” “Is he?” Christian challenged. The rogue looked at the

Rogue glared at the dragon. The dragon glared back at Rogue initiating a staring contest between the two. Overwhelmed by grief Rogue pointed at the dragon's head and the same purplish beam was shot from his finger towards the dragon, the dragon took flight making the beam miss. A snarl manifested on Rogue's face, as he never expected the dragon to dodge the attack. “So infuriating, Come down now” Rogue articulated in a sinister tone reaching out to the dragon with his right hand. Gravity exacerbated around the dragon, bringing it crashing down on the snow floor creating another crater. The possessed Rogue wasn't done as he moved his hand up, then to the left and brought it down.

One of the rogues is coming up behind him with a silver knife. Nyx roars, leaps, and then stands in front of the rogue, growling menacingly. “No one touches my family,” she said darkly. She jumped on the rogue and had him on his back. She wasted no time and ripped his head off. Rodrigo’s maw looked, and his eyes went wide. I turned to look at the area and saw that Rodrigo had the only rogue left alive. Nyx jumped and landed behind the rogue, knocking him unconscious. “That bastard stays alive until we question him,” she ordered.
