This is it, I need to find my mate, I head back toward the town and pick up his scent, following it away from the town. I travel until dawn, I'm getting tired, I need to rest, but Nova is getting antsy, this tells me my mate is near, she is running circles in my head.

When she raised her hand to wipe at it, the vampire’s vice grip stopped her. “Allow me,” the vampire said with a sickening sweet tone. Agatha’s eyes widened as the vampire’s face moved close. The intense light magnified the pulsing of her blueish veins beneath her white skin. Her thick, pouty lips parted as her long tongue licked the blood from Agatha’s flesh. An involuntary shudder of revulsion by the witch caused the vampire to laugh out loud. “Oh I do hope Corey wins you. If you shudder from my touch, I can only imagine how you’ll respond to his sadistic sexual prowess.” She clapped her hands in a childlike manner. “He promised to let me watch and then share your blood at the end.”

How he thought I was delicious after he had a taste of my blood. But wait, I had sparks where ever he touched me and his scent nearly drove me mad. But it can’t be, werewolves and vampires don’t get mated. We can’t stand each other, we are sworn enemies. It has been that way for as long as our history books reach back in time.
