To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

Nathan took a look around the house after entering. This two story suburban house, which was located in a desolate area, was elegantly and warmly renovated. The rooms were on the first floor, while the living room was on the ground floor. There was a floor to ceiling window next to a large book rack, and a white, fluffy carpet was spread out on the floor, on top of it were two books with bookmarks in them. The warehouse was filled with coal, and the fridge was stuffed with food, while water could be obtained from a well nearby. They had sufficient life supplies here, but the internet connection here was rather awful. Nevertheless, living here for two to three weeks would not be an issue.

Michy, I love your writing style and this story. You are a talented writer. Hilda and Nathan are my favorite book characters. I love the love they share and how they care for each other and others. Thank you for the shout-out in Chapter 897. I am so honored. And you're right about Anthony. :-)

House for Rent

House for Rent

I turned to face Niro right away. He instantly shook his head while puckering his lips, and I immediately pouted. My shoulders immediately slumped because of disappointment. That's two thousand pesos, now that I think about it. We can already afford it with three of us. Additionally, it appears like there is furniture there. And the woman was pleading for me to get that house. I'm wondering why. I'm just inquisitive; I'm not a nosy person. It's preferable if you are aware of the cause. You see, we won't live there unless there are wicked spirits or things there that we can't see. It might possibly be the cause of my death.

A Good book

A Good book

37-38) Based on the age rating system in China, Tencent chose to make their image look closer to children or teenagers when shaping the game characters of "King of Glory". At the same time, when designing some adult heroes, they also made their costumes look more conservative than the costumes in “Arena of Valor”. For example, in "King of Glory", Tencent had used a younger image to design the game character called DaJi. In history, it is said that DaJi was a beauty who was later married by the king of Shang Zhou as his wife. In the Ming Dynasty novel "Creation of the Gods", DaJi was manipulated and possessed by a thousand-year-old fox monster and was ordered by Nuwa(女娲) to disrupt the Shang

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“He has not; I forbade him. But I have had enough of it, and now I go to him, since he, being in service, cannot come to me. I intended to ask of you and my benefactress a refuge for this maiden while I went to Rashroff alone; but since you say that it is safe everywhere, I will take her. She is curious, the magpie, to see the world. Let her look at it.” “And let people look at her,” put in Zastar. “Ah, they would have nothing to see,” said the young lady, out of whose dark eyes and mouth, fixed as if for a kiss, something quite different was speaking. “An ordinary puss, nothing more than a puss!” said Sir Novoveski. “But if she sees a handsome officer, something may happen; therefore I chos

THE PERFECT WIFE

THE PERFECT WIFE

Rainfall in Whirthbourge wasn't very admirable, especially if one was driving. The road would be steep and slippery, causing tyres to swerve. She parked her car and walked into the first hotel with just her handbag. It was a five-star hotel. Alfred thought he could swindle her, but he had another thing coming. The hotel clerk took one look at her and squeezed her face in disgust. “I'm afraid, ma’am, we can't let out a room to you,” the girl said. “Helen, this is my hotel. Stop playing stupid and prepare my room for me,” Mary said, feeling irritated.

A Marriage of Convenience

A Marriage of Convenience

James whispered at my silence, “I’ve increased security and had motion cameras installed at the rear of the house. They’re on the generators, so I assure you, nothing is getting in here.” I forced a smile, nodding while still staring at the view beyond the living room. Part of me wanted to ask him how he got over the destruction of his pack and lived a normal life. I’ve seen the tiniest glimpse into his world, and I feel like I’ll never understand the comfort of being safe again. The cleaners quickly scurried out of the house, and I gathered that they were meant to be done prior to our arrival. “It smells so… sterile in here.” I glanced up at James, who was watching me as I limped around the

The House of Ash and Guilt

The House of Ash and Guilt

Forgiven. My ghost hovered in that ice-cold courtyard, nearly frozen through. On New Year's Eve, fireworks cracked and boomed outside, painting the night sky in bursts of blinding gold and various colors. From the manor windows, the display was spectacular. But inside, the holiday dinner was a tomb—silent and stagnant. Father sat at the head of the table. Before him were two place settings. One was for Matthew.

A Good Deal: The Don's Life for My Hand

A Good Deal: The Don's Life for My Hand

He spared me one last contemptuous look, then walked out of the warehouse without looking back. Only when the cold numbness finally dulled the stabbing pain a little did I move. I used my left hand to dig a tiny tracker out from inside my bra and pressed it with a shaking finger. My most trusted associate, Enzo Giordano, arrived quickly. The moment he saw me, his eyes went red. He carefully pulled the knife out of my hand. My right palm was a mangled blur of flesh and blood. I couldn't feel a thing. My voice was weak, but I had never sounded more determined in my life. "Set a fire. Burn everything here to the ground. From today on, Navarro doesn't have a Queen of Cards named Anna Russo anymo

Rude Awakenings

Rude Awakenings

“It’s just through here.” Swinging open the door, Kate stepped aside, allowing Georgia to slowly shuffle into the spare bedroom. Red, swollen eyes drifted around the room, taking in the fluffy, black comforter thrown atop the twin bed, the antique lamp inherited from Kate’s grandmother centered on the mahogany nightstand and the small, hexagonal mirrors positioned above the gray headboard. Chewing her lower lip, Georgia stepped toward the neatly-organized bookshelf nestled in the corner, a pink acrylic nail brushing along the spine of one of the books. “The Haunting of Hill House,” she mumbled, nodding her head in approval. “Like the show?”

This was so good. The main characters were properly fleshed out and I ended up loving Paloma. Colton essentially being a redeemable bum in need of therapy and stability was super realistic. Everyone having regular jobs was a breath of fresh air. The sex has you wishing you could be Kate. Solid read

Definitely one of my favorites, love the journey to love for Colton and Kate. They feel so real and it’s a roller coaster of emotions, with a psycho stalker for more thrills. Not sure why it’s broken into 2 books but reading back to back still flows. Thank you, author!!

Good Things Fall Apart

Good Things Fall Apart

She faced him when they were in front of her house. "You don't make me smile. I hate you and you're just like everyone else to me," she fiercely told him. "Thanks for tonight." He watched her enter her rusted gate and she was about to get inside her house, he had to tell her, "You can say every bad thing to me! I'll take them as a compliment!" Sasha glanced back at him with a frown and then back in front. She slammed the door which made Eustone smile even wider. "I wonder when she's going to smile at me..." he murmured and finally turned away.
