Cold, black blood sprayed out, but I was already finished firing my gun which is in my left hand, to another monster before the first corpse fell. The field was thick with beasts, the air alive and hellish with their screams. A shadow darted behind me. I turned just in time to parry the slash of a cleaver. I barely registered my opponent-male, shirtless, whiter than snow and drenched in blood-before counterattacking. I nocked my gun on his head then pull the trigger. The monster fell to the ground with a wet smack. "In coming!" I yelled, but even though I screamed at the top of my lungs, I knew the others hadn't heard.

I answered flatly. He sat down on the chair in front of me, and as he nearly pulled his own hair out of frustration, I could see it visibly in his eyes. His white neck and face were also crimson red. Oscar is handsome. He's tall, has a fair complexion, with a pointed nose and thin lips. He also has those pairs of foxy eyes. His hair is semi-shaven and his body is a bit bulky. Maybe because he's a basketball player. It's just that the reason why I don't like him—that's why we broke up last week—is that he's forcing me to have sex with him. He almost laid his damn hand on me. Fortunately, Peter and my other friends came.

Two months passed in a blur, and Theo came bouncing over to me. "Ms. Hawthorn, my dad has stripped that bad guy's status as the Alpha!" After I left, Lucas completely failed to manage his pack. He was officially removed from his position and began living life as an Omega with Finn. Isabella, on the other hand, was severely punished for possessing wolfsbane. She was locked away in the coldest and harshest prison of the Alliance. Her pup didn't survive in the end. She lost her mind, murmuring Lucas' name as she drank the remaining wolfsbane. That was how she died—alone in the dungeon.

He was knocked down, then got up again. If this had been the old me, I might have been moved. But now, thinking of how filthy and rotten he had become, I only looked away in disgust. I could not turn off the television, so I put on a coat and went outside for some air. Unexpectedly, Vivian came straight toward me, furious and cursing. "Stella! Look what you've done! "Julian is about to be beaten to death, and you're just strolling around here? Do you have any conscience at all?"

It made you look like a fucking crippled grandma. As I walked down the sidewalk, something caught my attention through my peripheral. I turned my head to see what had caught my eye, and saw Jacob Broder standing along the fence looking over the water across the street, lookin' pretty damn comfortable next to a short blonde chick that stood next to him. My eyes narrowed as I turned my entire focus on them. This shithead had better not be doing what I thought he was doing. I watched from the other side of the street as Jacob and the girl stood next to each other, and as that fucking sly wanker slipped his arm around the girl's waist, pulling her closer to his side. Oh, that motherfucking piece

He will never talk to Finny again, and I'm doubting that he will ever stand another girl up. When we walked back through the party, people moved out of our way to let us through this time. I'm sure that someone had heard us and rumors were going to spread, but I would shut every single one of them down. Finny didn't need anything else to make her feel worse.

Even if they were dead. "You think you're special, bitch?" I flinched away when a girl, just my age, tried to grab me. She didn't make it past one step when she stumbled and fell down on the sand. Her dark bob reminded me so much of Zoe. "Others are being treated like royalty while we starve until the boat comes." A man barked a laugh. His accent somehow sounded Scottish. Sudden guilt started overwhelming me. This was all too wrong. "Stay in your line!" I heard a growl. Looking up, I saw three identical bald men in complete black attire, keeping the dead people in their specific lines.

I never knew that this place existed in real life. Since I was young, I was locked up in an orphanage. And we aren't allowed to go out. I always wished that someone would adopt me. And that is my most regret in life. I thought I already saw rainbows and butterflies when Odin adopted me. But I was mistaken. The day he adopted me is the day my nightmare starts. I was just six years old back then when he brought me to The Ora. This is a secret criminal organization build-up of Hybrids and extraordinary beings with one mission: to destroy the world.

Delmar retorted. “But maybe we are afraid,” Matheus added. “I mean, look at us, we know next to nothing about Outsiders; what kind of people they are, how they think,” he looked Delmar directly in the eyes as he repeated Rowan’s previous words to him. “or what their weaknesses are.” Delmar narrowed his eyes at Matheus as he listened intently. “What are you saying?” “I’m saying that in all the time we’ve been stuck in this nightmare, we’ve never learned a thing about the Outsiders. Well, Delmar, now we have one.”

While most of them have fled, there are still a few inside, trying desperately to help others who have been buried. My hand still sizzling, I shake it off and pull it back. About to reach in and pull out some more wires, I stop when I hear Dr. Cho screams. It wasn't her gloating but her being taken by surprise. Looking out, I see the four OutCasts charging toward me. "They sure took their time," I think as I reach in.
