"Next up is Daniel and his group." Miss Close announced. Everyone had to do a presentation on Cold War. Unlike Daniel, Jenna worked independently even though she was supposed to be in his group but later she found out that working independently gave more marks. She idiotically left them last minute and rushed all the work for her presentation. She felt so dumb for not choosing to be in a group after seeing that everyone was in a group, except for her.

Daniel knew contradicting Henry’s opinions would only cause an issue, so he nodded and left the office. Doing long distance was harder than he thought, and the time difference between him and Emily was beginning to affect their relationship. When he was busy with work, she would want to talk. When he had free time, she would be busy with work. They had only spoken four times that week under tight circumstances. It was beginning to get frustrating. Would it be selfish of him if he asked her to join him in Italy? She had a whole life and family in America. It would not be that easy to leave.
