This life again
Everything looked so bright, like it had been covered in pastels.
Even the lakes were a crystal blue, and could easily been mistaken for a small part of the ocean. I stared at the trees, the leaves turning a crimson red as they dropped to the ground before changing into a charcoal black.
"I've taken you've never been to Thelmes." Queen Calandra commented, grabbing a long twig, and then lighting the end of it with the help of Lucios. She took a deep drag of it, handing it out to me.
The smoke smelled sweet like peaches and candy, and though I was tempted, I shook my head. It was always best to deny anything the Fae had to offer, especially if it was food.
