The soft hum of conversations and occasional laughter wafts through the air, creating a sense of community.
My dorm room door bears my name in vibrant purple hues, accompanied by delicate vine-like illustrations. In contrast, my cousin Jessy's door remains untouched, marked only by the impersonal numeral "fifty three." While etiquette dictates knocking, Jessy's habit of unceremoniously entering my room prevails. Standing at door fifty three, I disregard the customary courtesy and swing it open.
