"My mom would never marry a loser, miss lilly said so." Xavier crouched in front of him, smirking. "You know know about your mom kid." Miguel didn't answer. He just glared --- Victor moved like a predator through the burning wreckage of the battlefield. The survivors of his men followed behind him, sweeping through the compound, taking down anyone who stood in their way. Blood trickled from a cut on his cheek, but he barely felt it. All he could think about was Miguel. "Hold on, son," he whispered under his breath. "I'm coming."

“Just let me go. You don’t have to hurt anyone.” Her words fell on deaf ears as Leo grabbed her arm roughly, pulling her to her feet. “If he wants you,” Leo growled, “he’s going to have to fight for you.” Victor circled to the back of the house, finding a small and unlocked window. Quietly, he slid it open and slipped inside, landing silently on the wooden floor. His eyes adjusted to the dim lighting as he crept forward, staying low to avoid detection. Leo’s voice carried through the small space. “You think he can save you? He’s just like everyone else… he’ll abandon you the moment things get tough.”

Asked Liem who made Victor look straight at him. "Number 1 in the top sequence is a stubborn one who sucks just a little bit left even though I can beat him" said Victor "Who is he the one who can beat you comrade" asked Liem with a serious face "Hm" The sound of Victor's sigh "He is a person who really likes freedom and a person who is very difficult to predict. Sometimes he is called a hero for some people because he does good by defending a small village from the village bandits but sometimes he also does stupid things" said Victor.

Mama narrowed her eyes as she hit lightly on my back with the rolling pin, "At least respect your mother and don't curse in front of me." I huffed, I barely cursed but some people tended to grate on my nerves. Rolling my eyes, I let myself out of the bed, "Whoever this god is, we will make him eat his words. He is so gonna regret it." "Just don't go near him," Mama sighed as she watched me brush my teeth, "He is a Victor." My eyebrows scrunched as I met her eyes through the mirror, "The Victors?" She nodded. "Why would Victors come to our restaurant?" My voice was muffled as I looked back at her, "They're rich and super snobby. They don't eat in local eatella."

She must have found her mate recently! Victor shouted for his guards to remove the body from his office as he stalked over to the window and looked out at the city below. All his plans to grab the girl had failed, but he still had an agreement and he was going to hold that damn pack to it. If they wanted to live to see another day, they had to hand over the girl! He would spare a couple of them to keep as his slaves and slaughter the rest to show people what had happened if they didn’t keep their word!

Reluctantly, Arthur covered her hand in his, giving it a firm shake. "And I look forward to working with you," Victory continued warmly. "Word on the street is that you eat children for breakfast and breathe fire to anyone who dares to mention your name, thus solidifying your status as an unknown recluse. Having sat next to you this past hour, I find my flesh to be of room temperature and you appear to enjoy eating chicken and pudding instead of small children." Victory teased him in her soft musical voice, her green eyes twinkling in merriment and her pink lips were upturned in a wide smile.

Victoria started shivering, and looked around but saw no one. "The abandoned warehouse near the bridge, don't play smart by informing anyone. "Come alone" the text read. "What's this? Victoria asked with fear and panic. She squatted and started making inaudible prayers, she sensed someone watching her, she stylishly looked at the direction the stare was coming from, and saw a young looking dangerous guy in black staring at her. She stood up and pretended not to notice the young man, she started heading out of the park, while the young man trained after her.

Kelly reminds Ariadne so much of herself when she'd first been let out of the cage, still adjusting to her own autonomy. Victor sighs dramatically, placing his peas down in the sink to defrost further for tonight's last meal.
