Closing my balcony door, I stood there for a while thinking about what he said. How does music make me feel? No one has ever asked me that before… How was I supposed to answer that? It totally threw me off. Walking over to my desk, I looked at the pieces and flipped through them: Vivaldi Concerto in A minor. Paganini Kreisler- La Campanelle. Scarlatti Sonata in D minor. I hate to admit it but they were good pieces, the first one and the last one was piano pieces whereas the second one was a violin piece.

What could have prompted this her behavior? Violet was getting scared… her mission, was officially on hold.

It felt like there were real cherub angels surrounding him as his fingers touched the strings. He looked good in the stage too, like he was naturally born to stand in it with the spotlight illuminating the soft curls of his shoulder-length golden brown locks. It was tied into a low ponytail but still, it looked majestic. I had to contain the excitement bubbling inside me. Yes, I just can’t believe that this man providing a live violin music for the last dance is the vice president of the Fancy Pants Club, Mr. Vincent Dominico Altair. I state as I practically yell it through the phone with so much excitement that I can’t control myself. “I am the new concertmaster of the Philharmonic! I did it.” I spit out as I start to jump up and down. After I shout it, there is a silence on the line and then I hear him ask in a serious voice, “Hold on now, what?” “I had applied last week for the concertmaster position of the philharmonic. I didn’t think I would get it, considering it had been over 20 years since I had professionally played my violin. However, they sent me the letter today and it even states what my salary and everything is. I am so excited.” I say in a softer tone because I am trying to calm down despite myself.
