Luna Diana

Luna Diana

Or, in the case of pierced-ear jewelry, what would someone think if they found a wolf with pearls or gold secured to the leather of their ears? Chrissie glanced at Diana’s wrist. “Jeez, I never realized.” Her gaze met Diana’s. “I never noticed you don't even wear a watch.” “Nope. Can’t.” “How do you tell time?” “Clocks. When I’m in the Escape, it has a clock. The computer has the time. The oven, microwave, my alarm clock in the bedroom . . . clocks surround me. If I’m somewhere that I don’t know the time, I just ask.” She couldn't let Chrissie know she had an innate ability to know the time, from the elevation of the sun in the sky.

UNMASKED: The Heiress' Cold Revenge

UNMASKED: The Heiress' Cold Revenge

He slid it through the small opening at the bottom of the glass. "I need to liquidate this," Julian said. He tried to keep his voice steady, but the cold had made his throat raspy and patchy. The pawnbroker picked up the watch, holding it under a desk lamp. He turned it over and over, a few times before checking the serial number engraved on the back. He didn't look impressed; he looked like a man who had seen everything. He turned to a computer terminal on his right and began typing. "It’s a 5270," Julian added, leaning against the counter. "Grand complication, permanent calendar, manual wind. You know what it is worth merely looking at it."

The Mafia King's Deadly Bride

The Mafia King's Deadly Bride

Making sure Ein wasn't fully paying attention, she took out a device that helped her navigate her surroundings and climbed up one of the marble pillars. "Activate metal and material scanner," she held out her wrist, listening to the different types of materials she expected being read one by one by the watch. It wasn't alarming until one specific material was read by the watch. "Polymer 2 that's used on a G42. Who the hell brings that to a wedding? Locate Polymer 2" Unfortunately, finding the exact location is a bit more complicated than just finding the material itself. Another gunshot rang out to the left "they're moving."

Trash one

However, if she were to wear the watch herself, Jate might misunderstand and tease her mercilessly. Noticing Angela's hesitation, the sales woman smiled charmingly as she said. "Ma'am, Vancheron Constantin is a world-famous watchmaking brand. I assure you the quality is top notch! This pair of watch suit you and your husband perfectly."

John Mack
I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

Before I lost my old phone I had this app. and several books on it including this story. Unfortunately I have started rereading it and I'm a bit disappointed... Same story but somehow it reads like a little kid wrote it... Sorry but it's true.. Please fix the way it's edited and correct the mistake

The Best Decision

The Best Decision

Emily’s eyes welled up, her small body trembling as she buried her face in my chest. “That’s enough!” My patience snapped as I shielded my daughter. “You keep calling what we wear fake, but have you even seen the real thing?” I took off my watch and held it up, turning the back toward them. “Look closely. Here’s Patek Philippe’s custom serial number and the Howard family crest!” “Family crest?” A bystander burst into laughter. “She’s lost it! The Howard family crest? Does she think she’s Daniel Howard’s mother or something?”

The Billion Dollar Contract

The Billion Dollar Contract

I said quietly. "Bastard." Kane moved around the office with casual ownership, pouring himself coffee from Adrian’s espresso machine, sitting in Adrian’s chair, using Adrian’s computer. Then, a flash of gold caught the light. I focused the binoculars on Kane’s wrist and my stomach dropped. "Adrian, is your father’s watch gold? Vintage? With a black face?" "Yes. Rolex Submariner. 1967. Why?" "Kane is wearing it." The silence stretched so long I thought we’d been disconnected. "Adrian?"

Twenty Seven Days

Twenty Seven Days

He threw in three plain black t-shirts, two pairs of heavy denim trousers, a thick wool sweater, and a pair of worn running shoes. He stopped, his hand resting on the edge of a small, velvet-lined drawer at the back of the closet. He reached in and pulled out a small, faded silver wristwatch—an old, mechanical piece that didn't have a digital link, didn't have an encryption chip, and didn't have a value that would interest the asset forfeiture division.

The Ex-Wife He Never Knew

The Ex-Wife He Never Knew

We walked to my workshop and Ray put Scott’s watch on the velvet pad. The watch face had a silhouette of a soldier standing proudly in the center of a St. George’s cross. I smiled, “That is perfect. I reached to my opposite side and picked up the band. I attached it to the watch and Ray gasped, “This couldn’t have worked more perfectly. This watch is a masterpiece.” Theodore smiled, “You should read the engraving.”

Coming Out of the Deep

Coming Out of the Deep

There was another layer beneath, which made my jaw slack. Laid out against black silk were two luxury timepieces and jewelry sets—one for each of us. The first thing I noticed was the watches. One was a rare Patek Philippe with a skeletal dial, tourbillon movement visible through a sapphire crystal, and a platinum case. The other was a Vacheron Constantin, adorned with tiny midnight-blue sapphires around the face and an intricate moon-phase complication. Each watch was accompanied by a matching bracelet, which appeared to be handcrafted with white gold links and inset black diamonds that sparkled like dark stars. Each of us also received a pair of cufflinks.

CHAINED

CHAINED

I asked before pouring another shot at my glass. "Girl, maybe you are the only one who does not know him. FYI he is just the head of Villa Cruz Construction Company. You really got a big fish," she mumbled. "He's the one who caught a big fish. B*tch I am Cassandra Monasterio, daughter of Deyniel Monasterio, the heiress of Monasterio Worldwide," I stated, full of my self. MW is the biggest hotel chain here in the Philippines, we also have 66 branches worldwide.
