Memories of a wolf
Though on instinct only, I really wish that he was fine.
We tottered to a nice, warm place. The room had a table with white tablecloths on top of it, a few stools, a bunch of bookshelves, a trunk, and a cauldron.
"Am...how did you know of the attack?"
I looked at Chance again.
"I just...I felt it,"
"How?"
"Nature? Perhaps... I can hear the wind calling to my ears,"
He seemed to be expecting a different answer, but he appreciated my honesty nonetheless. Chance grinned at me, as if ready to continue the conversation, but our interaction was abruptly interrupted by the arrival of another person.
