Echo’s POV: Grrr…Grrr… His phone rang. He didn't care about the phone call at first and held my ring finger with one of his hands and the pliers in the other. He wasn’t even bothered with the constant phone ring. What kind of bullshit was he?

That wasn’t helpful. My cell phone was ringing. I wasn’t sure how long it had been vibrating in my pocket, but it wasn’t until I gave up on the book that I noticed it. Considering only humans try to get ahold of me that way, I figured it couldn’t be anything important. I sure didn’t want to speak to my parents at the moment, and Emma was the only person I might want to talk to who would use a phone, but I doubted she would be calling me this time of day.

I'm used to it, anyway. All of a sudden, amidst the silence, a phone rang loudly. It gained all the attention of the students including the strict librarian. The phone that was ringing loudly came from Mirco, who hurriedly took his phone out of his pocket upon hearing the librarian's yell. "Whose phone is that?! Turn that off or I'll throw it outside the window!" Mirco stood up as he answered his phone as soon as he took it out of his pocket. He glanced at me, "I'll just answer this outside." And without waiting for my response, he already walked away. He walked past the librarian who was glaring at him.

I hit the call button instead. I put the phone to my ear, listening to the ring. It rang. Once. Twice. Three times. Four long, endless rings. On the fifth ring, he picked up. Silence.

Again, a long silence lingered over the room until the ringtone of a phone tore through the silence. John answered the call and put the phone to his ear.

Ring. Ring... The golden coloured telephone with a round dial ringed repeatedly. The ring of the telephone was louder, so Akshara could hear from her room which was located just above the room of her godmother, Nicoria. Akshara peeped out of her room and examined who was calling. The telephone ringed continuously, it turned out to be no one was willing to pick the telephone. Akshara tiptoed with her soft feet and passed the room of her godmother. The room was the godmother was remained shut just like five hours before.
