"That witch isn't dead yet, but she's going to be soon! Now, more importantly, I've got news! Portville has heated up again, so it’ll probably be our turn soon. Just wait! Those idiots are still stocking up on those useless down jackets and thermal blankets, so let's just watch them die from heat when they can't even get a single ice cube, haha!" Charles laughed proudly, Iris looked vicious, while Kate and Arthur both wore twisted, sinister expressions.

I sit there beside Toby and people started to shove foods and drinks to our faces. "No, thank you." I refused the glass of beer kindly. Suddenly, an arm wrapped around my shoulder. "Hey, Mitz, Toby..." A girl's voice. I turned my head and saw a girl with black hair smiling at me. "I'm Naya. I'm the only female Quill Warrior." She said, sounding so proud. I would also be proud if i was her. "Stop showing off, Naya." Toby rolled his eyes. "What? Should I also tell her about the last battle that we had? You know, when i totally kicked your..."

Kit laughed, shaking his head at Joon. "I didn't mean to," He chuckled. "I don't understand why that pup follows you sometimes." Kit laughed. Smiling, Joon replied, "What can I say? It's all training to him!" All the wolves laughed. "What's the message?" Rex asked the Alpha. "Pandora was the one responsible for taking Vuk Majka's goddess like power, along with her Soul's Light. Pandora locked them in a mystic cage, called the Tome of Sadness until she found another worthy to take on the mantle of Vuk." Joon paused, not knowing how to say what is coming next.

As soon as two wolves made their appearance, I sprinted down, noting instantly who they were as their scents permeated the air. They stopped in their tracks at the sight of me. Yes! The plan was working! Jasmine sprinted down the hill, coming in with her sneak attack, pouncing and digging her claws into Alpha Vic's back. He was like a wild bronco as he tried to throw her off, but Jasmine was so fucking good, and kept a good hold on him, not allowing him to knock her off. Even pregnant, she was a badass.

She doesn’t move from where we were laying. Zelda lays her head for a while and then, just like Lorelei did, Zelda lifts her head and lets out a loud mournful howl, saying a final goodbye to two very good friends. Zelda then lowers her head and lays it down on her paws once more. I don’t even flinch when I am joined by a very large dark grey wolf lays down next to me and draped his head over my neck.

Drago had a death grip on her arm, trying to calm her, but who could be calm at a time like this? The golden beast lumbered toward them, then stopped directly in front of Drago, letting out a low growl, steam puffing from it’s huge nostrils. When Drago growled in return, Madchen jumped, trying to free herself from Drago’s grip, but he wasn’t letting her go.

She stared at me, trying to figure me out. “I’ll go a step further—if you let me keep Jezebel, in three full moons I'll take Marianna as my mate. She is a beautiful girl. It would be my honor.” I added, and I meant it. Marianna with her fiery red hair, and freckled face, was very attractive.

Lilly is one of the workers in the house, she’s the one person who makes a house less suffocating, she is around my age but older than me by two years. She pulled me in for a hug snuggling into me and trying to make me feel it’ll be better without even saying it as I could read through her mind. “I’ll be fine, I can handle this. I will surely find my way out” I say to her before she can spit what she intended to say. She sighs, “You’re being married off to an Alpha Lyra, and you know what that means right?” I shrug, “I don’t think even he can defy me. Whoever he is, I’m certain he doesn’t want this as much as I don’t too, so we could maybe come to an agreement and wiggle our way out of the s

I was just having the necessary equipment brought in, in order to make the journey. We were 20 minutes out for Vala’s coven it was deep in the mountains away from the nearby villages despite it’s rural surrounding the place a metropolis. High sky rises and a lot of glass buildings with a mix of ambient lighting, ranging from purples, blues, and greens. Their city was extremely modern in comparison to our castle and old brickwork structures. ‘Zelda, were almost here,’ I stroked her hair as she stirred in my lap coming to from her sleep. Her eyes fluttered softly her lips parted in that little o as she sleeps. She scrunched up her nose before her eyes fluttered open.

Nervousness painted her features as she cautiously stepped onto the muddy dungeon floor, her gaze unwaveringly locked onto mine. "Prepare for me to beat your sorry ass, Apollo," James taunted, his sarcastic comment echoing through the dungeon. Zelda walked closer to me, her presence gradually enveloping me. "I apologize, but you have to drink this. Its water mixed with wolfsbane. James wants to ensure you're at a disadvantage during your fight. He fears you, just like you said," Zelda's voice whispered through our mind link as she squatted before me, setting the tray down and lifting the cup.
