Bratinella Series 1: Trixxie, Walang IIbig Sa'yo

I looked into his glowing green eyes as I tried to free myself from his grip, but it was all a wasted effort. They were far too strong and bigger than I was. I stopped struggling, then humbling waited for him to let me go. 

 

“You win, now please let me go. I need to get back home to finish some important things.” I pleaded if he would eventually let me go. 

 

“Important things? What could be more important than serving the future Alpha of the pack? Liam growled as he smirked. 

 

Future Alpha? Liam was one of the triplets that would always remind that I was never a part of their family nor part of their pack

 

I knew that there was no reasoning with him, I have lived with the triplets for years now and he was the most arrogant of the three, he was the one that I loved to avoid the most. 

 

I had put up with his attitude for years, but today I wanted to avoid him at all costs. At midnight, I would be eighteen and I would connect with my mate. 

 

“Liam, let me go. I need to prepare for tonight.” I said as I tried to free myself from his grip but it was all in vain, I felt my anger begin to grow inside me. I wanted to fight back but I was scared that he would go to extreme lengths to deal with me. 

 

“What In the world would you want to do in the ball, or do you think that you would find a mate? Ahh tough chance no one would want to be with you.” Liam growled with a smirk on  his face.

 

That was the last straw, I felt my wolf rage inside me, my anger had reached its breaking point. I shook my hands from his grip, I slapped him across the face. 

 

“I will find my mate, I will be with someone that appreciates me. Regardless of what you think or say about me.”  I said with all my rage, I immediately regretted hitting him. 

 

Liam’s face and countenance changed, I could feel the bloodlust flowing all around him. This was the actual first time I fought back but I regretted my immediate action. 

 

“How dare you hit me! How dare you strike me! I will make sure you pay for that.” Liam grabs me by the neck, choking me. 

 

He lifted me from the floor with one hand only, I knew that he was out for revenge, I knew I was done for there was no saving me from his anger. 

 

“Liam, put her down now.” A voice howled from across the room, the voice belonged to the one person I didn’t expect to come to my rescue. 

 

“What is the meaning of this brother? How can I leave her after she has insulted her Alpha.” Liam growled, still holding me. 

 

“Future Alpha, you aren’t an Alpha yet so she did it to defend herself. You pushed her to the limit so she reacted the way anyone would, so let her go.” Elijah ordered with his face and tone unfazed. 

 

Liam released me from his grip, he felt defeated but he gave me a promising look to watch my back. He walked away not looking at Elijah, I turned immediately to thank Elijah. 

 

“Thank you Elijah, I’m grateful.” I bowed my head down to show my gratitude, this was not the first time Elijah had saved me from his brother’s torments. 

 

Elijah turns to me and says “I actually did want what I thought was the right thing to do, I can’t stand around and see wrong being done. I’m not going to be an Alpha that can’t place the right from the wrong.” 

 

He was about to walk away, he then stopped and handed me a bag. “My father said I should give you that, the shoes are from me.” Elijah said before walking away. 

 

“Thank you.” I whispered, not sure if he could hear me, I held the bag close to my heart. I cherished the gift I received. I turned and quickly dashed to my room. 

 

I kept the gift on my bed, I brought them out slowly. I saw a beautiful blue gown, its design was simply heavenly. Attached to the gown was a letter from father himself. 

 

It read; 

 

My dearest Leila, 

 

It only seemed like yesterday that I saw you in ruins of that burnt down village, a poor innocent girl that couldn’t stop crying. Many members of my pack said I should throw you away. 

 

I didn’t listen to them because I knew that one day I would look back and be happy that I didn’t. Over the years I have seen you grow from a child to a beautiful young woman. 

 

Tonight you turn eighteen and you will get bonded to your mate, many wolves from different packs will be here. No matter who your pack, or where he is from I will accept. 

 

You will always be my little moon rock.

I closed the letter and looked once at the gown, I absolutely loved it. The last thing inside the bag was the shoe Elijah got me, I took it out of the bag and looked at it. 

 

It was absolutely beautiful, I adored it. I began dancing around the room, I didn't notice Henry standing there. I quickly stopped, I couldn’t hide my happiness. 

 

Henry came in with a smile on his face, he looked at me and said. “Well you’re happy today, it’s nice to see you in that mood.” He smiled as he gave me a necklace, with a beautiful moonstone pendant. 

 

My entire heart leapt with joy. “Thank you, I love it Henry.” I said as I gave him a hug, I always felt safe with him and Elijah. But I always wished that Liam wouldn’t always be aggressive with me. 

 

Henry broke from the hug, he stepped back a bit and said. “Well I won’t hold you back from getting ready for the ball, I will see you tonight.” 

There was something about the way he said those words that made my wolf react.
