Yuna Feron was in bed, wrapped under the blanket, when a divorce agreement was thrown at her. Her heart tensed when she saw the words, and she unconsciously clenched the blanket.

At the end of the bed, Yvan Jenkins' expression was dark as he put on his clothes. He felt disgusted enough just looking at her.

"Yvan, I didn't do anything at the hotel last night. I didn't plan this," she explained as she enduring the ordeal of being wrongly accused. Her tone was firm, but there were tears in her eyes.

"I don't care if you planned it or not. You got what you wanted, didn't you?" Yvan glanced at her as he continued dressing. "But Yuna, don't think we would never divorce."

That was a fact that she always knew. Her two-year marriage to Yvan had been arranged by their families. In public, they were a loving couple. However, they were nothing but strangers behind the scenes.

Yuna endured it all because she knew the Ferons wanted to get rid of her after her mother died. She could only maintain her place in the Ferons with the help of the Jenkins family. So, she didn't care if Yvan didn't love her.

She thought her life could go on like that. Unexpectedly, the woman Yvan loved suddenly returned. She was facing divorce and became the joke in her circle.

Expressionless, Yvan said, "Just sign the papers. I don't want to see any of your things in my house before dark. If you play any tricks on me, I'll make sure you'll regret your persistence."

After that, he turned to leave without any trace of hesitation. In contrast, Yuna was forced to sign the divorce agreement and kicked out of the house.

You were the one abandoned by Yvan and made the Ferons the joke of the city. Your father got hospitalized after hearing the news."

Yuna quickly stood up. "Dad is hospitalized? Where is he?"

"Do you think your father wants to see you? We thought you could make the Ferons proud and act as a qualified member of the Jenkins family. Who knew you would be so useless?" Cora mocked.

Hearing that, Yuna bit her lip, mixed emotions swirling in her heart.

"Who in Jefton City hasn't heard about Yvan abandoning you for another woman? Yuna, we're all women. So, you should know that the only way to lock down a man is to give him a child. Look at you. Two years have passed, and there's no sign of pregnancy. No wonder Yvan would treat you like that!"

Did she want this to happen? She wished to give birth to his child, but Yvan would never give her a chance. Facing her stepmother, who constantly ridiculed her, Yuna remained indifferent and tried entering the house again with her suitcase.
