Damn, well,” Asher shrugged, “you live longer than we do, so I guess it can be considered soon for you.”

Looked out at the waking city. Two hundred and ten years. One last copy turned to slag and sea. Enough.

You’ve traveled over 400 years into the future.” Fernando blinked slowly. “Four… hundred?” “Yep,” Alice said. “Four hundred and twenty-five, give or take a few months.” “But... how is that possible?” His voice cracked. “You remember Corazon’s curse, right?” Johnson added. “When Alice broke it, the energy had to rebalance.
