Author's POV Christmas Eve Party... Myra was looking stunning in her dark red and black, half velvet and half flair canopy gown. After three hours of hard work, the artist makes over her look for the Christmas Eve party thrown by Austin. "I hope you like the art, I had done," The make-up Artist asserted bowing her head to Myra. "Like..." Myra arched her eyebrows and continued with a slight laugh, "Love it. It's awesome... You changed my entire appearance, but I love it."

It was going to be a hella long Christmas Eve that was for fucking sure. Amber had even forgotten what day it was until she saw some carolers standing in front of a department store in a better part of town. The fourth pawn shop stop to be exact. Hopefully, they’d have Grayson home in time for Christmas dinner at his parents’ tomorrow night. If not, it’d be hella hard to explain his absence for sure.

I rolled my eyes, and then everyone started shouting, “Five. Four. Three. Two. One!” And instantly, the lights on the tree lit up like the fourth of July. It was stunning; I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than this moment right now. As the tree glistened and the snow fell, everyone began singing carols. It was honestly the most perfect moment I had ever witnessed. I didn’t want this moment to end….

[Christmas] My forehead knotted when I woke up in unfamiliar room. I circled my eyes around the place and I don't remember how I got here. The place was slightly filled with darkness and I only had a lampshade and a patio light coming from the veranda outside that giving me lights to see. I slowly sit down in the bed trying to remember what just happened. “Thank you so much for accompanying me here, Christmas.” “Anytime, Auntie.” “I hope you can forgive me.”

Just as Enzo promised Arieon, he tried his best to turn a new leaf and be happier. Honestly, he was actually happy with being depressed. It was already December which meant Christmas was near abd Arieon was so excited about it. She loved holidays because it was the time she spent with her family. This year, she's spending it with her new family. It'll be the first and last time, though. "Let's have a very big Christmas tree!", Arieon gushed in happiness. Agatha looked at her incredulously. "You love holidays", she said and Arieon nodded. "They're just so special and I love celebrating them", Arieon said.

Christmas break was just around the corner. A high school group chat that had been dead for years suddenly became lively again. Messages flooded in by the hundreds within minutes. Some people talked about how excited they were to reunite, while others sighed nostalgically about how beautiful those years had been. The class president sent me a private message again, insisting that I attend no matter what. I had ignored every invitation before, but this time, I agreed. Because I wanted to see what they looked like once they failed and had nothing left.

Sera I watched the SUVs leave into the snowy landscape. Big, fat flakes drifted by, and with all the Christmas lights on, the night still felt calm and magical. I was determined to keep it that way, if not for my sake, then the rest of the household’s. It was planned a few days ago that Olivia, Penny, Joyce, Callie, Pepper, and Rosemary would help me make this the Christmas to remember for Dustin. We’d make it special for Michael, too, though he wouldn’t remember a moment. His mom would take plenty of pictures, though. We planned to make more cookies, drink hot chocolate, watch Christmas movies, and do whatever Dustin wanted to do since it was his first real Christmas Eve.

Kiara and I take our seats on one side, with everyone else seated on the opposite, Candy positioned across from Kiara and farthest away from Mom. "Thank y'all for comin'. I'm just so happy to see all my family here tonight on Christmas Eve," Mom says with a smile, her Southern accent adding a charming touch to her words. With that, we begin grabbing our own helpings of her delicious food. I can't help but notice Candy and Mom, indulging in another pour of wine while I opt for the bottle of cider I brought. "Want some?" I ask Kiara, and she nods appreciatively. I proceed to fill a glass for both of us.

“I’ll let everyone know, and we can get the invites sorted.” Grayson shakes his head, chuckling. “I doubt we’ll need invites, Angel. Most people will be busy on Christmas. It’ll probably just be us, your brothers, and maybe my mom and siblings.” “Okay, then how about Christmas Eve?” I suggest, grinning as I watch him consider it. “Christmas Eve it is,” he nods, satisfied. “Have you finished eating?” I nod, having already polished off my meal a while ago. “Yeah, but I’ve been too busy talking to notice you’re done.”
